The Semantic & Syntactic of the
       Horror Genre.
Semantic
            Actors, Location, Body
language, Sound, Editing, Lighting, Props, Colo
rs, Shot, Costume, Composition. These are all
aspects that need to be approached with
great detail when making a film. Each one
contributes to the film and make it look better
             and more professional.
Syntactic.
When making a horror film, the syntactic
approach is important because it tells the
audience what sequence the events are going
to happen in. For example, a group of people
get together to investigate a spooky house. As
time goes on, each one is killed off until
eventually at the end it is a battle between the
last person and the killer. As to which one dies
            is different in each film.
