Marketing Professional, Aurivo Co-op (Co. Sligo, Ireland)
This involved moving to Co. Sligo where I wrote press releases, co-organized
events and networked at them, helped design product packaging, monitored
promotions, observed competitor actions and headed up their social media.
I greatly increased in confidence, learning to carry out basic and complex tasks in
a professional environment.

As a friendly and welcoming club, my front-of-house position allowed to perfect a
myriad of interpersonal skills with all the local and international visitors to the club.
I used Microsoft word, excel and others to create posters, flyers and menus for the
club. I regularly worked on accounts for golf club, thus giving me a broadened
understanding of financial terms within a business.

Marketing Co-ordinator / Farm Hand and Calf Rearer, Bellemont Farm
I live on a large dairy farm and am expected to work outside regularly. This allowed
me to develop team work skills, working with family members and local workmen
alike. I have created and co-created promotional material for the farm including a
video, logo and flyer materials. Also, I have assisted with the running of events at
the farm e.g. farm walks, open days.
Supervisor, Sligo Grammar School (Co. Sligo, Ireland)
The Sligo grammarschool is a private fee paying school in the County of Sligo. I
worked here mainly with the boarder students supervising approximately 50
pupils each evening when on duty. I organised events for the students and
participated along with them. This role also involved liaising with other staff and
carrying out disciplinary procedures as necessary.

I assisted with the name change, rebranding and uniform design for Coleraine
Grammar School, a local academic institution. I used leadership skills here, digitally
creating initial uniform ideas and researching inspirations for various slogans.

I raised £1800 for a local charity on justgiving.com by running a marathon. I
created and managed a social media campaign complete with edited digital
imagery, a press release and video.

I independently an international work placement in America. I discovered my natural
networking skills and deepened my communication skills with creative writing, event
planning and website updates in this initiative-led experience.
