• BOARD LENS
• This is a fixed lens mounted on a circuit board of camera.

• C-Mount
• This type lens is the original standard one. Its back
interface diameter is 25mm, sensor format includes 2/3
inch,1/2 inch. Especially, the lens and camera contact
surface to the surface of sensor is the standard value
17.5mm.
• CS-Mount
• This type lens is the upgraded one from C-Mount lens.

lens. If the iris creates a larger opening, more light can get through; a smaller opening allows

FIXED IRIS LENS:-

• This type of iris is ideal for indoor recording where the light levels stay consistent when the
camera is recording, such as an office or school with many large overhead lights
AUTO-IRIS LENS
• A lens with an electronically controlled iris allowing the lens to maintain one light level
throughout varying light conditions.
CCD FORMAT
• The approximate size of image sensor. 2/3", 1/2", 1/3", 1/4" are few available sizes. A
smaller format lens will not work well on a larger format camera. Using a smaller format
lens on a larger camera causes distortions ranging from tunnel vision to poor back focus.

 IP ADDRESS: It’s a unique identity of any network devices over the network. An Internet Protocol (IP) address is
a numerical label that is assigned to devices participating in a network. IP Address is of two types:
 Public IP: A public IP address is any valid address, or number, that can be accessed over the Internet.
 Private IP: A private IP address is any number or address assigned to a device on a private TCP/IP Local Area
Network that is accessible only within the Local Area Network.

• Static : Static is a manual assigned IP address where you assign the IP for the TCP.
• Dynamic : Dynamic IP address is an addressed that is leased by a DHCP server

separates the IP address into the network and host addresses

68.  TCP : is responsible for verifying the correct delivery of data from client to server. Data can be lost in the
intermediate network. TCP adds support to detect errors or lost data and to trigger retransmission until the
data is correctly and completely received.
 UDP: it’s connectionless & doesn't acknowledge that the packets being sent have been received. For this
reason, the UDP protocol is typically used for streaming media.
 HTTP: Communications protocol used to connect to Web servers on the Internet or on a local network
(intranet).
 UPnP: It is to establish the mapping relationship between the LAN and the WAN via the UPnP protocol hence
no need to do manual port forwarding on router. To work with this just enable UPnP on DVR/NVR and enable
it on router also. .
 IP Filter: It Filter the traffic to access or deny for a network range or host.
