The document proposes a new secure secret message steganography (SSMS) method for hiding secret messages in digital images. SSMS reorders the pixels of the cover image using a partition map table before applying the least significant bit steganography technique. This adds an extra layer of security by encrypting the location of the hidden data. Experimental results on hiding messages in various images found that SSMS maintains high peak signal-to-noise ratio and low mean squared error values between original and stego images, and provides high throughput for hiding and extracting messages. Tests hiding longer messages showed SSMS continues to perform well.
A new hybrid steganographic method for histogram preservation IJEEE
This paper presents a histogram preserving data embedding method for grey-scale images which is based on pixel value differencing (PVD) and least-significant-bit (LSB) substitution methods. Various PVD based steganographic methods achieve high data embedding capacity with minimum distortions in stego image at the cost of change in histogram characteristics which is can be detected by histogram based steganalysers. This persistent problem can been taken care off by proposed method of data hiding. The improved performance of the proposed method is verified through extensive simulations.
We present a new image compression method to improve visual perception of the decompressed images and achieve higher image compression ratio. This method balances between the compression rate and image quality by compressing the essential parts of the image-edges. The key subject/edge is of more significance than background/non-edge image. Taking into consideration the value of image components and the effect of smoothness in image compression, this method classifies the image components as edge or non-edge. Low-quality lossy compression is applied to non-edge components whereas high-quality lossy compression is applied to edge components. Outcomes show that our suggested method is efficient in terms of compression ratio, bits per-pixel and peak signal to noise ratio.

intra-block and inter-block are extracted from the DCT coefficient array. After the feature space has been
constructed, it uses SVM like binary classifier for training and classification. The performance of the
proposed method on different Steganographic systems named F5, Pixel Value Differencing, Model Based
Steganography with and without deblocking, JPHS, Steghide etc are analyzed. Individually each feature
and combined features classification accuracy is checked and concludes which provides better
classification.

Achieving a high quality stego image, however, is still a challenging problem. In this paper, we proposed a new data hiding algorithm based on different expansion. It aims to enhance the quality of stego image for a given payload size. The new algorithm is evaluated on various medical images. Thereafter, the experimental results show that the visual quality is improved; and increasing the embedding capacity leads to more noises. Therefore, a better choice of base point and a reduced difference expansion affect the quality of stego image.

stages. The proposed algorithm is expected to increase the embedding capacity as two techniques are
combined. The interpolation technique helps to keep the distortion low. Experimental results show that

Reversible data hiding (RDH) is used to embed secret message into a cover image by slightly
modifying its pixel values. Embedded message and the cover image are completely recovered from the
marked content. RDH supports information hiding with the lossless compressibility of natural images.
Lossless compression, difference expansion, histogram modification, prediction-error expansion and
integer transform techniques are used for RDH process. Histogram based RDH method is divided into
two steps histogram generation and histogram modification. Histogram construction is performed with
the pixel pairs sequences and their different values. Histogram modification is carried out to embed data
into the cover image. The un-hiding process recovers the message and also the cover image.
Reversible data hiding (RDH) scheme is designed by using difference-pair-mapping (DPM)
mechanism. A sequence consisting of pairs of difference values is computed by considering each pixelpair and its context. DPM is an injective mapping defined on difference-pairs. Specifically designed
DPM is used for Reversible data embedding process. A two-dimensional difference-histogram is
generated by counting the frequency of the resulting difference-pairs. Current histogram-based RDH
methods use natural extension of expansion embedding and shifting techniques. A pixel-pair-selection
strategy is adopted to use the pixel-pairs located in smooth image regions to embed data. Capacity
distortion property is used evaluate the embedding capacity (EC).
Two dimensional difference histogram modification model is enhanced to increase the
embedding capacity. Difference Pair Mapping (DPM) model is optimized to identify pixel redundancy.
Multiple in value based pixel pair modification is allowed in the system. Histogram modification is
carried out with different frequency levels.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a radiographic technique that has been commonly
used to help doctors provide more detailed information for further examination. Teeth segmentation on
CBCT image has many challenges such as low contrast, blurred teeth boundary and irregular contour of
the teeth. In addition, because the CBCT produces a lot of slices, in which the neighboring slices have
related information, the semi-automatic image segmentation method, that needs manual marking from
the user, becomes exhaustive and inefficient. In this research, we propose an automatic image slice
marking propagation on segmentation of dental CBCT. The segmentation result of the first slice will
be propagated as the marker for the segmentation of the next slices. The experimental results show that
the proposed method is successful in segmenting the teeth on CBCT images with the value of
Misclassification Error (ME) and Relative Foreground Area Error (RAE) of 0.112 and 0.478, respectively.

Since videos are composed of images, the degree and efficiency of image compression are of great
importance. Although the DCT based JPEG standard are widely used, it encounters insurmountable
problems. For instance, image encoding deficiencies such as block artifacts have to be removed frequently.
In this paper, we propose a new, simple but effective method to fast reduce the visual block artifacts of DCT
compressed images for urban surveillance systems. The simulation results demonstrate that our proposed
method achieves better quality than widely used filters while consuming much less computer CPU
resources.

In this paper a method is proposed to embed a color secret image into a color cover image. A 2-3-3 LSB insertion method has been used for image steganography. Experimental results show an improvement in the Mean squared error (MSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) values of the proposed technique over the base technique of hash based 3-3-2 LSB insertion.

Data Hiding Using Green Channel as Pixel Value IndicatorCSCJournals
Steganography is an art of hiding the existence of data that is it hides the secret message in the digital cover medium. This paper introduces an improved algorithm that uses pixel value indicator technique for the concealment of the secret message in most significant bits (MSBs) of the cover image. Here, Green channel serves as a pixel value indicator for hiding the secret message in 5th and 6th bits of Blue channel or Red channel of RGB cover image. If Green channel has even number of 1's, Blue channel is used for embedding the secret message otherwise Red channel is used for the embedding process. The experimental results of the proposed method are obtained using MATLAB R2017a. The experimental results obtained show that the stego-image formed is of great quality having high PSNR value and it provides good security and in distinguishability.

source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be

Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
