The document presents a method for automatic image slice marking propagation to enhance teeth segmentation in dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images, addressing challenges such as low contrast and irregular contours. The proposed technique successfully automates the segmentation process by propagating markers from the first slice to subsequent slices, achieving improved misclassification and relative foreground area errors compared to existing methods. Experimental results indicate that this approach offers a more efficient and accurate segmentation, benefiting applications in dental diagnosis and identification.
