2. Effective Advertising
Television is the most
effective way of advertising
as from a chart it shows
that there are many more
people watching television
as opposed to them using
the internet. This benefits
my sponsorship ancillary
task as it will be shown on
the television. I also feel a
sponsorship advert on
television would be good
because it is more frequent
than a web pop up and
therefore sticks in the mind
more so, this is a product
of brand reinforcement
3. Television shows suitable for my
sponsorship
When using a sponsorship it is
imperative that the sponsorship follows
a program which is made for the target
audience of my ancillary task, this
increases the chance of consumers for
the products which are being
advertised. To search for shows that
are suitable for my sponsorship and
that are suitable for my target audience
(16-25 year old women) I will research
existing sponsorships of shows I think
would be suitable, to see if they are.

• Pretty Little Liars- Missguided
Pretty Little Liars is the closest to my
product with their sponsorship and it is
a show predominantly viewed by young
women.
4. Web Pop Ups
Web pop ups are suitable for
my advertising ancillary task
as what I'm advertising is an
online shop and web pop ups
appear online. Online
purchases are becoming more
and more popular, from 2000-
2011 in Great Britain spending
online had reached to 27.1
billion British pounds. Travel is
the most purchased thing
online and fashion is the
second lowest, however it still
has a vast amount that use
the service of fashion online
shopping.
