6 6EXT. OZ'S BLOCK. MORNING
We see the door of a porch opening. The shabby building with
a lot of posters and ads on it.
A 14 year old boy called Oz comes out. He looks tired like
he hasn't slept in days. He wears a tatty grey hoody. He's
not tall and if anything a little slight. He looks calm and
peaceful at his surroundings. He looks around. He enjoys
early morning and the cold outside. Oz looks behind him in
the dark.
Oz suddenly starts to run away.
7 7EXT. SIDE ROAD. MORNING
We see his facial expression, he looks exhausted, not happy.
He runs. A pair of tatty trainers, a tatty pair of trousers,
a grey hoody.
Oz runs away in the middle of the road. There are some old
buildings around him.
He turns left.
8 8EXT. WASTELAND. MORNING
Oz runs down an industrial wasteland and turns right. He is
tired.

9 9EXT. THE BRIDGE. MORNING
Oz runs across a bridge, water beneath him.
Oz's cheeks and nose are red. His breath can be seen
billowing out.
Oz runs to the middle of the bridge.
He slowly comes to a stop. In the middle of the bridge. He
tries to catch his breath.
Tatty trainers again.
Oz jumps, clasps himself and rubs against the cold.
Right in the middle of the bridge.
Fade in.
