- 2. INT.BEDROOM.DAY A bedroom full of pictures on the wall, of friends, of holidays. Album covers. Sat on a ’fluffy’ bed with loads of pillows is SADIE and JOSH. Sadie is a blond haired 17 year old ’girl next door’ type. She is dressed in a tracksuit. JOSH Each is lying on the bed head to toe. They stare at the ceiling SADIE Im going to miss you JOSH You don’t have to worry about anything babe SADIE How many people are staying in your flat again? JOSH Umm I think 5 other people SADIE Girls? JOSH 2, they both seem really nice SADIE Oh let me see a photo of them JOSH Theres nothing to worry about SADIE Josh just let me see a photo JOSH Why are you getting jealous, is this what its going to be like when i go away? INT.LIVING ROOM.DAY Sadie is alone in her bedroom, wearing Josh’s hoodie (same hoodie as he was wearing in the first scene) she is scrolling on her phone and receives a snapchat from Josh.
- 3. 2. SADIE What the fuck! INT.BEDROOM.DAY Sadie meets up with her best friend to discuss what she has just witnessed. SADIE Ruby you will not believe what I have just seen! RUBY Go on SADIE Last night Josh sent me a snapchat of him in bed with a girl RUBY Shut up SADIE I know i’m worried because before he went to uni we weren’t in the best place and for the last couple days he has been acting a bit off with me. RUBY Maybe its not what you think it is. Face time him tomorrow before you jump to conclusions. INT. JOSH UNI BEDROOM. DAY Basic boys room, blue bedsheets, quite plain walls with a couple football posters, note no pictures of him and Sadie together. Show Josh topless sitting in the bed with a girl LILY, pretty with dark hair wearing one of Josh’s t shirts and underwear. JOSH receives a face time from Sadie JOSH Lily my friends calling can you leave please Show Josh picking up the face time call and Lily walking out of the room
- 4. 3. SADIE Babe I miss you so much, I feel like you have been a bit distant lately , is everything ok? JOSH Yeah everything is fine i’ve just been super busy SADIE Ah ok, are you having a good time? JOSH yeah i’m loving it, got super close with my flat mates they’re so nice. SADIE Thats good, i was thinking about coming to visit you next weekend? JOSH Yeah that should be fine SADIE Yay i’m so excited JOSH Alright iv’e got to go to football training , i’ll talk to you later SADIE Alright love you JOSH Hangs up phone without a reply. EXT.CAR.DAY Montage of Sadie getting ready , packing her bag, putting on makeup and straightening her hair to get ready to visit Josh at uni. Then show her walking out the door, getting in her car and entering ’Oxford Brookes University’ into her sat nav. EXT.CAR.DAY Show clip of her driving on her way to uni, have music playing behind it.
- 5. 4. EXR.UNI.AFTERNOON Show Sadie pulling into the university,Josh is there to meet her and takes her back to his halls. SADIE (Runs up to Josh) I missed you so much JOSH I missed you too SADIE I feel like its been ages JOSH I know, lets go to my flat INT.UNI.AFTERNOON Cut to Sadie and Josh entering the halls, they walk into Josh’s bedroom and see Lily sitting on his bed. SADIE I knew that something was up. You’ve been distant ever since you left. How could you cheat on me and rub it in my face when i’ve come down to see you. I feel so betrayed I loved you and our whole relationship was obviously a lie. INT.UNI.AFTERNOON Have Lily’s girlfriend ELLIE storm through the door, she is dressed casually with short hair and tracksuit bottoms. ELLIE What is going on in here? SADIE This fucking bitch has been sleeping my boyfriend LILY What are you talking about? ELLIE Lily is this true? LILY Obviously not I love you
- 6. 5. JOSH Sadie what are you talking about Lily is my best friend and is going out with Ellie? SADIE Oh shit!
