GEOGRAPHY Scotland   is a country that is part of the United Kingdom.  It is placed in the northern third of the island of Great Britain and it shares a border with England. The capital city is Edinburgh.
CLIMATE The climate in Scotland it's warm and humid, and it is usually a bit variable. The winter in Scotland isn't very hard, although the temperatures are lower than in the rest of the United Kingdom.
POPULATION in  central part of Scotland the more inportant cities  are: Glasgow in the western part, and Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee in the eastern part.
HISTORY Scientists think that the first people living in Scotland lived there about 11.000 years ago. But the written history of the country began with the romanitation.
HISTORY Today: - Many of the old monuments from Scotland's long history still are seen today.  
SYMBOLS The flag of Scotland or "The Saltire" consists of an arm or San Andrés's white Cross on blue bottom, emblem that also  began to form a part of the flag of the United Kingdom or Union Jack in 1606.                                                                                 
SHIELD This shield was used by the scotish royal family until 1603, when the dinasties of scotland and england joined.

Rugby Scotland has it’s own national team, that has won fourteen times the six nations championship It’s one of the most importants teams of the world
