City Year RI Social Media Presentation

Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

- 3. CREATE an event. Create your own events by time and space and share your experiences with the world. Extend the reach of your event to all the digital possibilities. Build your creation. To create an event, follow these 3 simple steps: Step 3 Type the title of your event and an optional description. Select the start/end time, and zoom in on the event location on the map. Step 1 Go to your profile and tap Events Step 2 Tap to create a new event
- 4. DISCOVER events & photos. See what else is going on in the world of events! Choose one of two paths to start discovering. Sort between live photos and events anywhere in the world. Rescope photos you like to your own public or private collections. In Map view tap to discover events and photos in the area you selected. Photo Features Map Features Photos & Events Worldwide Path A: Go to the Map page, select a location, and tap the blue Search button to see photos and events from that area.
- 5. DISCOVER events & photos. Path B: You can also search for events by name directly from the Home page. Press to search for events. Type the name of events or scopes to see other users’ curated collections. Homepage search Photos & Events Worldwide
- 6. CURATE your events. Scope collects all social media photos that your guests take at your event and sometimes you may wish to remove duplicates or inappropriate photos. Scope let’s you do just that with a simple tep on the photos you wish to remove. Step 1 Go to your profile and tap Events Step 2 Step 3 Tap Now tap the photos you don’t want to share and select Curate
- 7. BROADCAST your events. Extend the reach of your event by broadcasting across platforms to anyone, anywhere, to any audience of your choosing. Share entire events from the list of events on your Profile page, or any other event on Scope. Tap the Share button and select how you want to share the event. Step 2 Post directly to Twitter or Facebook, or copy the link to paste in a mass email to your guests. Step 1 Tap on any event to share it
