Scientix is an initiative funded by the European Union to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in schools. It provides online resources and hosts workshops and conferences to connect STEM projects and educators. Scientix 2, running from 2013-2015, aims to disseminate information about EU-funded projects, host a larger conference in 2014 with more participants and supported travel, and facilitate collaboration between projects through meetings and online tools. The initiative is coordinated by European Schoolnet and involves a network of national contact points.
