- I would like to introduce you to a new way of using the internet as a teaching and learning resource in your classroom.
- If you will, I would like you to think of your computer as a door. The following video has an excellent introduction and explanation of what web 2.0 tools are. We are going to watch only the first 4 minutes of the video, it is about 15 minutes long.) Did you notice, something is missing in the picture?
- This website by Discovery Education is an excellent website with a manageable amount of information. I recommend it as a great place to start to explore Web 2.0 tools.
- The web 2.0 tools page has 4 sections with 3-4 resources in each section to try.
- To summarize using web 2.0 tools with your students gives them the opportunity to communicate, collaborate, compose, create, and contribute.
