                                                             public.

   1. Choose the job above that you are most interested in and explain why it
       appeals to you:
The jobs that appeals to me the most is being a dancer and an actress because I
enjoy it and I am good at it, but if I had to choose one I would choose actress as I
am more confident at acting and I enjoy it more.

Describe the skills that you think may be required to excel at this job and say
       why they are important.
To be an actor you have to be able to perform in front of people, you have to have
a loud and clear voice so you can get your voice heard by the audience. You also
have to be able to able to take a role of a character and stay as that character you
are playing through out the play. Ranging from the ability to assume a different
body shape or language, depending on the age and fitness of their character. Have
to have other skills too as for some productions, singing or dancing skills may be
required and lastlyYou have to be able to show difference emotion through your
       acting.

                                                                                              3
2. What are the main DOs and DON’Ts of the job?
Do not at any point get out of character. If you mess up a part just improvise
instead of letting the audience know that you made a mistake. Listen to others,
don’t just do what you think is right; Respect everyone whether it’s the producer,
director, actor/actress or even a runner.

3. Does the job involve issues of risk and health and safety? Explain.
Being aware of others when holding a sharp object from a scene, Be careful
during performing or recording when doing stunts or holding a weapons. Working
at height and be aware of the fire exit for fire safety.

4. Is this a very competitive job market? Are there usually many vacancies for such
   a post?
This is a very competitive market and very hard to get in to but there is always
internship or other voluntary work that you could help you get in to the industry.

5. Are most people in this job free lancers or regular salary workers, or is it
   balanced?
It is very balanced because it depends on what sort of job you do, some people
may work for a specific company or star a soap where they have a steady job and
others may be doing a film so the job will be only available to for that film before
you have to go and look (audition) for another job (film for example).

6. a) Why do you think that you are right for the job?
Because I am able to stay in a role of any character that is given and I work well
with others and get along with everyone. I have a good memory which will be
handy when memorising the script. I get stage fright and this is not good as the
job includes performing in front of people, so I need to start performing and
presenting in front of people so I am used to it.

                                                                                        4
