Saw palmetto is used as a natural treatment for female hair loss. It works as an effective blocker of DHT in the scalp, similar to Propecia but without side effects. Hair loss in women is generally caused by hormonal fluctuations from pregnancy, menopause, genetics, weight loss, eating disorders, poor diet, thyroid disease, cancer, or lupus. Saw palmetto inhibits DHT and improves blood circulation to support hair follicle health and growth.

Hair loss (alopecia) can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it's more common in men
How to prevent hair loss:
1. Avoid hairstyles that pull on the hair.
2. Avoid high-heat hair styling tools.
3. Don't chemically treat or bleach your hair.
4. Use a shampoo that's mild and suited for your hair.
5. Use a soft brush made from natural fibers. ...
6. Try low-level light therapy.
Different factors may cause hair loss. Aging and genetics are only a few. But in men, basically, it is caused by dehydrotestosterone hormone, or DHT. This hormone’s chief purpose is to develop the traits of men such as deep voice, larger muscles, and mustache. However, it also develops Male Pattern Baldness. What this hormone does is it accumulates and develops in the DHT receptors found around the follicles of hair. As the hormone has established itself, it will eventually kill the hair as well as the follicle, making it hopeless for hair to grow back.

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection

1. SAW PALMETTO FOR FEMALE
HAIR LOSS TREATMENT

http://www.leimo-hairloss.co.uk
2. Almost all women take good care of their hair
and that having long, shiny and beautiful hair is
considerably a leading asset for them.
Alopecia or hair loss is truly inevitable, although
this condition is known to be predominantly
occurring in men but in clinical studies, women
are also irked by this at some point in their life.
Hair loss in men is totally different from the women and the treatment for
both sexes is too dissimilar. Female hair loss treatment is often in lower
concentrations like the minoxidil 2 percent solution, men on the other hand
are typically treated with the same ingredient but in stronger concentration
which is the 5 percent or even higher minoxidil topical solution.
http://www.leimo-hairloss.co.uk
3. WOMEN’S HAIR LOSS IS GENERALLY CAUSED BY HORMONAL
FLUCTUATIONS IN THEIR BODY. THIS OCCURS WHEN A SINGLE
WOMAN IS EXPERIENCING PREGNANCY AND GOING THROUGH
THE NATURAL PROCESS OF MENOPAUSE.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE ALSO SEVERAL WOMEN WHO SUFFER
FROM HAIR LOSS CAUSED BY GENETICS (DHT SENSITIVITY); THIS
TYPE OF HAIR LOSS IF REFERRED TO AS FEMALE PATTERN
BALDNESS. OTHERS LOSE HAIR WHEN THEY SUDDENLY LOSE
WEIGHT OR WHEN THEY HAVE EATING DISORDERS LIKE BULIMIA
AND ANOREXIA.
IT IS ALSO A FACT THAT WOMEN HAVING A VERY POOR DIET CAN
ENDURE THINNING HAIR OR HAIR LOSS; FOR THE UNFORTUNATE
ONES WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM CERTAIN DISEASES LIKE A
THYROID DISEASE AND ILLNESSES SUCH AS CANCER AND LUPOS,
THEY WILL ALSO BE AFFLICTED BY HAIRhttp://www.leimo-hairloss.co.uk
LOSS IMMINENTLY.
4. FOR MANY YEARS, HERBAL AND NATURAL INGREDIENTS HAVE
BEEN WIDELY UTILIZED BY NUMEROUS COMPANIES WHO PRODUCE
HAIR LOSS PRODUCTS AS THEIR MAIN AND ACTIVE CHEMICALS IN
EFFICIENTLY BATTLING THE PROGRESSION OF THIS CONDITION.
THIS HAS BEEN STRONGLY PURSUED BY PROFICIENT SCIENTISTS
AS SOME FEMALE HAIR LOSS TREATMENTS TEND TO PROVIDE
SIDE EFFECTS. TWO KNOWN HERBS THAT ARE BEING USED TO
TREAT HAIR LOSS IN BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ARE GINKGO BILOBA
AND SAW PALMETTO.
NUMEROUS EXPERTS AND HERBALISTS RELY ON THE EFFICACY OF
THIS CERTAIN HERB AS GINKGO BILOBA HAS THE ABILITY TO AID
WITH SEVERAL PROBLEMS. ONE IS, IT ASSISTS OR IMPROVES THE
BLOOD CIRCULATION TO THE SKIN AND BRAIN. THE HAIR
FOLLICLES NEED ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS THAT ARE BEING
TRANSPORTED THROUGH BLOOD CIRCULATION; WITHOUT IT, THE
HAIR FOLLICLES ARE NOT CAPABLE OF PRODUCING MORE
HEALTHY THICK HAIR.
http://www.leimo-hairloss.co.uk
5. SAW PALMETTO IS POPULAR AS A TREATMENT FOR ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA
OR COMMONLY KNOWN AS MALE AND FEMALE PATTERN BALDNESS. THIS
HERB IS PROVEN TO BE VERY POTENT AS IT CAN EFFECTIVELY BLOCK THE
BUILDUP OF THE HORMONE DIHYDROTESTOSTERONE OR DHT IN THE
SCALP. SAW PALMETTO ACTS IN A SIMILAR WAY THAT PROPECIA DOES BUT
WITHOUT THE SIDE EFFECTS.
REPUTABLE HAIR CARE EXPERTS SAY THAT SAW PALMETTO IS A POTENT
DHT INHIBITOR IN THE SCALP AND IS IN FACT AN ACCURATE MALE AND
FEMALE HAIR LOSS TREATMENT. THIS HERB IS SEEN IN LEIMO PRODUCTS.
LEIMO PROVIDES A COMPLETE REGIME ORGANIC-BASED TREATMENT FOR
PROBLEMATIC HAIR FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN.
LEIMO ALSO PROVIDES THE PERSONAL HAIR LASER DEVICE WHICH
PROVIDES LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY THAT STOPS FURTHER HAIR LOSS
AND MAINTAINS A HEALTHIER HEAD OF HAIR BY STIMULATING BETTER
BLOOD CIRCULATION IN THE SCALP. FOR MORE DETAILS, CHECK OUT
