33 rd SAVER Anniversary Dog Anti-Rabies Vaccination June 19, 2010/ 8:00-12:00pm/ Cubao The vaccination was sponsored by Lions Club and the Baranggay. Many canine and feline species were vaccinated furthermore a free medical check-up was conducted by Dr. Rollie. Saver members volunteered and conduct home services. 33rd SAVER Anniversary Eucharistic Celebration June 24, 2010/ 10:00-11:00pm/ DLSAU Chapel Due to classes, few members were allowed to celebrate this solemn event. The members give thanks to the lord for the 33 years of upholding Professionalism, Excellence, and Brotherhood to the society. The members asked for blessings and graces for this year. ACTIVITIES DURING THE 33 rd SAVER ANNIVERSARY 33 rd SAVER Anniversary Final Acceptance for the New Members June 25, 2010/ 1:00-4:00pm/ Osmena Hall Mostly all newly members of the society Were there and take the oath of Responsibility as a SAVER member. Some of the residents, alumni, and OSA Were given privilege speeches for the Newly-accepted members. The program was properly executed. 33rd SAVER Anniversary Seminar: Prevention and Treatment of Canine Disease June 24, 2010/ 9:00-12:00pm/ Osmena Hall Many Veterinary students witnessed this Seminar. This seminar expanded the horizons of the student’s data on the topics that was discussed. The students appreciate more the things related to Veterinary Medicine
ACTIVITIES DURING THE 33 rd SAVER ANNIVERSARY 33rd SAVER Anniversary Animal Trivia Quiz Contest June 24, 2010/ 9:00-12:00pm/ Osmena Hall Most of the students who participated enhances their know-how in terms of animal facts and information. The contest does promote competitiveness, camaraderie, and fairness. There were a lot of students who Responded and participated during this event. The program was executed properly and successfully done.

32 nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Tree Planting September 05, 2010/ 8:00-12:00pm/ Bulacan Almost all the members volunteered and participated for this event. This activity shows the brotherhood and sisterhood; the oneness of each members; deeper bonding of the society. This event promotes love for the mother earth and the value of Taking care of the environment. 32nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Eucharistic Celebration September 16, 2010/ 8:00-9:00am/ DLSAU Chapel Due to classes, few members were allowed to celebrate this solemn event. The lady members give thanks to the lord for the 3nd years of upholding Professionalism, Excellence, and Sisterhood to the society. The lady members asked for blessings And graces for this year. 32 nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Dog Anti-Rabies Vaccination September 15, 2010/ 1:00-5:00pm/ DLSAU Car park The members were encourage to familiarize themselves in our hands-on Activities. We upgraded and equipped the Newly members of the society and other students with the necessary skills and knowledge needed for their future. Many canine and feline were Vaccinated. The event was in coordination with SSC (UNTV’s Bread Tambayan event). 32nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Seminar: Condition, Management, and Conservation of Philippine Wildlife September 15, 2010/ 9:00-12:00pm/ CVMAS AVR The seminar started late due to some technical aspects but it is properly managed. The event was properly coordinated with The help of all the members. The students got a chance to interact with The wild animals and broaden their Perspective in terms of wildlife. 32 nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Name That Animal Quiz Contest September 16, 2010/ 10:00-12:00pm/ Osmena Hall This was a newly-made contest that was Properly executed and successfully done. Many students participated and got the Chance to compete with each other. The contest was said to be advanced Due to its multimedia presentation. 32 nd Lady SAVER Anniversary Pinoy Henyo: The English Version 2.0 September 16, 2010/ 1:00-3:00pm/ Osmena Hall This was a event was properly executed and successfully done with The help of all the members. Many students participated and got the Chance to compete with each other. The participants learned to appreciate the English language and boost themselves to fluently speak the English Language. OTHERS Banggitin Ang Himig September 1, 2010/ 10:00-12:00pm/ Osmena Hall The contest achieved its main goal: to appreciate the Filipino culture and to appreciate our own language. This activity was properly done and executed. It was a break-even activity. The contest was said to be advanced due to its multimedia presentation.
OTHERS Quail Egg Guessing Contest September 1, 2010/ 8:00-12:00pm/ Osmena Hall Many students and professors tried to Guess how many eggs were there. It was an income-generating activity. This contest was successfully done.
OTHERS Dog Anti-rabies Vaccination August 28, 2010/ 8:00-12:00pm/ Blumentritt, Q.C Many canine and Feline were vaccinated. This vaccination is sponsored by LMC. There was free medical check-up for pets. Dog Anti-rabies Vaccination July 31, 2010/ 8:00-12:00pm/ Project 4, Q.C Many canine and Feline were vaccinated. There was free medical check-up for pets. MAJOR SAVER PET SHOW January 26, 2011 (tentative) l 1:00 – 5:00 pm l DLSAU Field To promote on the awareness of proper ownership of pets and the rights of animals To determine for the students’ best show pet for 2011. For the students to confidently show and model their pets and compete. To have a owner-pet bonding.
MINOR Ang Himig Natin Acoustic Band Competition February 14, 2011 (tentative) l 3:00 – 5:00 pm l Osmena Hall For the students to express themselves through their music. To appreciate and uplift our own Filipino music. To enhance their skills by means of music and playing musical instruments. To promote cooperation within a band and fair play for other competitor bands.
OTHERS Micro-Patho Quiz Contest November 12, 2011 (tentative) 3:00 – 5:00 pm l Osmena Hall To enhance the Vet Med students’ expertise regarding Pathology and Microbiology subjects. To promote excellence through fair play. To further acquaint students with such quiz contest through multimedia presentations.
OTHERS Lantern Making Contest December 08, 2010 (tentative) 3:00 – 5:00 pm l DLSAU Field . To appreciate the Yuletide season through creating creative and colorful lanterns. To practice cooperation and teamwork in each organization To have peaceful interactions between organizations To promote hope, peace, and love within the Lasallian community.
OTHERS SAVER CHRISTMAS PARTY December 17, 2010 (tentative) 3:00 – 5:00 pm l Bustos, Bulacan To celebrate this merry-making with the less fortunate kids. To share the society’s blessing for this good year. To have a spirit of oneness among the members of the society. To enjoy and to have fun with all the blessings that SAVER achieved. OTHERS SAVER INDUCTION March 26, 2011 (tentative) 3:00 – 5:00 pm l Osmena Hall To induct all the newly-survived members of the Society. To properly recognized this accepted member inside the academe with the help of OSA. To pass to them the legacy of SAVER and the responsibilities and obligations of each member to these newly-inducted members.
OTHERS Information Education Campaign January 19, 2010 (tentative) 3:00 – 5:00 pm l Bagong lote, Malabon To share our knowledge in animal awareness and proper pet ownership to kids. To practice animal rights and to prevent animal cruelty. To have social interactions between the society and other people. To have a special bond between animals and humans. To experience the real scenario of handling different kinds of people. To familiarize the members in the proper way of vaccinating an animal. To uphold excellence and professionalism.
