This is a specifications sheet for the Savante Subsea Cerberus underwater 3D laser scanner. The system employs a combination of triangulation and photogrammetry to produce high precision and accuracy 3D models of pipelines. The system has been deployed aboard micro ROV and work class vehicles.

Overview
The CERBERUS subsea laser profiler was designed to enable high-speed, precision laser topographic survey to be performed using
a simple low profiler, single-housing design. The subsurface unit integrates a high performance offset detector with high power laser
emitter and is range-gated to receive data from 1 to 10m distance. A 4U 19" rack-mount top-side surface control unit processes
individual laser profiles to determine a variety of compressed pipeline survey parameters, outputted over RS-232 or ethernet.
