Satya Nadella is an Indian-American business executive who has been the CEO of Microsoft since 2014. He has had a long career at Microsoft, previously holding roles in research and development and cloud computing. Nadella was born in India and received degrees from both Indian and American universities. As Microsoft CEO, he has focused the company on cloud services and made commitments to support India's Digital India initiative.

3. INTRODUCTION
 Satya Nadella (born 1967) is an Indian-American
business executive, Engineer and the current CEO
of Microsoft.
 He was appointed CEO on 4 February 2014,
succeeding steve Ballmer.
 Previously, he was executive vice president of
Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group.

4. EARLY LIFE
 His father, Bukkapuram Nadella Yugandher, was a civil
servant of the Indian Administrative Service.
 Nadella was attended the Hyderabad Public School,
Begumpet, before attaining a bachelor's degree in electrical
engineering from the Manipal Institute of technology,
Karnataka in 1988
 When he was young, Nadella wanted to be a professional
cricket player, and he played in school. But he realized that
his athletic talent was outmatched by his passion for science
and technology.

5.  Manipal Institute of Technology didn't have a real computer-
science program, so he traveled to the US to attend the
University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, from which he
graduated in 1990.
 Later he received an MBA from the University of
Chicago, Booth School of Business.

batchmate, K.R. Venugopal. They have ,a son & 2

 Nadella worked with Sun Microsystems , as a
member of its technology staff, prior to joining
Microsoft in 1992.
 Nadella worked as the senior vice-president of
(R&D) for the Online Services Division and vice-
president of the Microsoft Business Division.
 The revenue from Cloud Services grew to $20.3
billion in June 2013 from $16.6 billion when he took
over in 2011.
 Nadella's 2013 base salary is nearly $700,000, for
a total compensation, with stock bonuses, of $7.6
million. Satya Nadella played a major role in
