Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and is known for its prominent ring system, which is visible from Earth. It is the second largest planet after Jupiter in terms of mass. Saturn is an oval spheroid shape due to its rapid rotation and low density, which causes it to be visibly flattened at the poles with a protruding equator. The planet has a density lower than water, and if placed in a large enough bowl of water, Saturn would float due to being composed primarily of hydrogen and helium.
