Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and is 1426 million kilometers away. It is the second largest planet in the Solar System with a diameter of 142,750 kilometers. Saturn takes 29 1/2 years to orbit the Sun and has at least 31 moons, being surrounded by prominent rings that are composed primarily of ice particles and dust.
