Deep Diversity: Managing Diverse Teams at WorkNOBL Collective
When leading diverse teams, people tend to focus on surface diversity—traits like race and gender. But if you're really interested in capitalizing on the power of diversity, you must focus on deep diversity: the unique perspectives and thought processes that individuals bring to the table. Though research shows that this deep diversity is necessary for break-through ideas, it also creates conflict in the workplace. In this webinar, Dr. Kim Perkins from organizational design firm NOBL explains how to effectively manage truly diverse teams, and shares simple exercises that any leader can implement.
