This document provides instructions for configuring SAP Solution Manager to support multiple customer numbers. It describes two methods: 1) Using a single OSS user assigned to a Customer Competence Center to support multiple customers, and 2) Creating multiple OSS users in Solution Manager, which requires generating new RFC destinations for each customer number and assigning the correct customer number and OSS user during system synchronization. The key steps are creating the RFC destinations, checking the connections, assigning customer numbers in AISUSER, and synchronizing system data with the Service Marketplace using the program AI_SDK_CF_GET_SYSD_VAR_CUST.

This configuration guide has been compiled to know how is the connection strategy between SAP
Solution Manager and Service Marketplace – Support Portal.
Solution Manager – Scenario Description
Using Sap Solution Manager in your Landscape, you can get support from Sap and other entities
like Sap Partner, Consulting and CCC.
You can define internally in your company one CCC (Customer Competence Center) to provide
support to other Companies in the Same the Group or external.

General Info
You have 2 ways to setup the infrastructure for use Solution Manager to support several Customer
Numbers.
Using Single OSS User defined in CCC.
You can support several customer Numbers in SAP but all the customer numbers need to be
assigned to a common Customer Competence Center (CCC) number. You need to request a SAP to
assign you S0123456789 to a CCC entity.
SAP only permits access to data of the same group (CCC) using the connection SAP-OSS.
Using Multiple OSS users.
If you want to use Several OSS User inside Sap Solution Manager to provide support, follow these
instructions.
Using Multiple OSS Users
Create the RFC Destination
In Txcode:SM59—Copy the SAP-OSS destination with a new name..SM_SP_0000012345(Is
important to use the 10 digits of the Customer Number.).
Complete with the OSS Username and Password.

Check the Connection
In SM59:Menu Utilities Test Authorization Test.
This step check the Connection string and the Username/Password defined.
Assign the Customer Number
In Txcode: AISUSER create a new entry with the
• SAP username: You username in Solution Manager
• Sap Customer Number: The customer number.
• Contact Person: The OSS User without the “S”
Synchronize Technical Information to Service Marketplace
Read and Synchronize
Go to Txcode: SMSY Select the System System Data in SAP Support Portal Read System
Number.

Now the System brings all the information from the Sap Support Portal. Then click in Synchronize
to update the information in automatic.
If Sap Solution Manager show this error message, is because you don’t have the RFC Destination
Created.
CCC
If you are using CCC, this mean that SAP assign you OSS User to support different Customer
numbers. You need to run the program “AI_SDK_CF_GET_SYSD_VAR_CUST to read the customer
installation supported.

Select the RFC Destination for this Customer and complete the Customer Number
Now you can found all the Customer systems in solution Manager.
