The Sant Ramon Hermitage was built in the late 1880s atop Sant Ramon mountain, which belongs to three neighboring towns including Sant Boi, the closest to the author's hometown of Cornellà. From the summit, one can see the Llobregat delta, Barcelona, and on clear days Mallorca island. Last year, the author took the train from Cornellà to Sant Boi and went nordic walking up to Sant Ramon Hermitage, and returned there again in September with a visitor to Barcelona.
