Introduction:
The ALS implementers of Alternative Learning System (ALS) and Abot-
Alam Program in San Francisco District-II continues to serve the underserved, the
out-of School Youth and adults, the marginalized and the least privileged people in
their premises. Thru the undying support of DepEd and the Local Government
Unit of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, we were able to cater the educational needs
of those who dropped from formal school system who can’t afford to go to school
based on daily attendance. Around 60% of out-of –school youth and adults were
able to avail learning sessions under ALS program. Many illiterates became
literates. This program does not only limit in the 4 corners of our CLCs by just
paper and pen education. It also caters the other needs of its learners by
upgrading their economic status through livelihood trainings such as candle
making, rag making out of clothes strips, wax production and meat processing.
Moreover, we are developing our learners to become God fearing, morally
upright, and productive citizens through values education. The battle against
illiteracy continues this year as we are about to begin in bringing education
outside the mainstream of school campus. May our local officials, stakeholders
and the citizens will continue to support this unique learning style in our society.

Means of
Verification
Advocacy and Enrolment at the last quarter of the Year. We invited
our DALSC from SF-1 with the Central Principal.
Linkage by sitting down Barangay sessions together with BLGU
Officials to gain their support to ALS and Abot-Alam Program.
On August 8, 2014, the cooperative effort the Local Government of San
Francisco the 3 Districts initiated the Launching of Abot-Alam Program. We
have 4 Abot-Alam Literacy Volunters in San Francisco-II.
Cum Livelihood training Program on meat processing was opened by our District In-
Charge Mr. Paterno D. Purisima was held at Lapinigan District ALS Learning Resource
Center conducted by our MNAO Mrs. Mamerlyn Bugaoan.

  • 2. Introduction: The ALS implementers of Alternative Learning System (ALS) and Abot- Alam Program in San Francisco District-II continues to serve the underserved, the out-of School Youth and adults, the marginalized and the least privileged people in their premises. Thru the undying support of DepEd and the Local Government Unit of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, we were able to cater the educational needs of those who dropped from formal school system who can’t afford to go to school based on daily attendance. Around 60% of out-of –school youth and adults were able to avail learning sessions under ALS program. Many illiterates became literates. This program does not only limit in the 4 corners of our CLCs by just paper and pen education. It also caters the other needs of its learners by upgrading their economic status through livelihood trainings such as candle making, rag making out of clothes strips, wax production and meat processing. Moreover, we are developing our learners to become God fearing, morally upright, and productive citizens through values education. The battle against illiteracy continues this year as we are about to begin in bringing education outside the mainstream of school campus. May our local officials, stakeholders and the citizens will continue to support this unique learning style in our society.

  • 11. Advocacy and Enrolment at the last quarter of the Year. We invited our DALSC from SF-1 with the Central Principal.
  • 12. Linkage by sitting down Barangay sessions together with BLGU Officials to gain their support to ALS and Abot-Alam Program.
  • 13. On August 8, 2014, the cooperative effort the Local Government of San Francisco the 3 Districts initiated the Launching of Abot-Alam Program. We have 4 Abot-Alam Literacy Volunters in San Francisco-II.
  • 14. Cum Livelihood training Program on meat processing was opened by our District In- Charge Mr. Paterno D. Purisima was held at Lapinigan District ALS Learning Resource Center conducted by our MNAO Mrs. Mamerlyn Bugaoan.
