18. NUTRITION MONTH
2018
“Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin”
Dr. Gerardo Sabal MNHS’ T.L.E Department
spearheaded the celebration of the Nutrition
Month 2018. The highlights of the activity
were the following: Cooking Contest, Fruit
and Vegetable Display and Boom-Boom
Dance Challenge as incorporated with the
activity’s theme.

46. Lecture on Earthquake and Fire Drill with actual demonstrations by the
respective agencies and return demonstration of students.

48. School Preparedness Week or
commonly known as Brigada Eskwela is an
annual school maintenance activity. It aims
to prepare the school environment to be
ready for the opening of the classes.
In connection, Dr. Gerardo Sabal
Memorial National High School actively
joined with the kick off activity of the
Department of Education – The Brigada
Eskwela 2018. The Brigada Eskwela 2018
started with a joint Caravan of Claveria
Central School and DG Sabal Memorial
National High School. The caravan went
around the whole Claveria Poblacion which
aims to promote and inform everybody of
the start of the Brigada Eskwela.

49. Activities during the Brigada Eskwela 2018 include the following: mowing the
grasses, cleaning the road from national highway to the school gate,
repainting of I Love DGSMNHS, unweeding the school’s premise, and
preparation of classrooms for the opening of classes.

66. DGMNHS met parents regularly to inform about the accomplishments of the
school and to regularly report the achievement and performance of the
students.
