Samsung is a leading mobile device manufacturer headquartered in South Korea. It has a wide range of mobile phones targeting different customer segments. Its current popular models include the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Grand. The Note 3 and S4 are aimed at high-income customers while the Grand targets middle-income users. Samsung focuses on technical specifications and distribution strength for its products but needs to improve battery life and premium customer service for high-end models. It faces threats from cheaper imitation models and competition from Apple and other Android manufacturers.
