effects during the follow up periods. A mixed effect model of repeated measure
analysis showed no significant between group differences for HR (Figure 2) and
DBP (Figure 4). On the contrary, the averaged total HR, regardless of the groups,
showed a statistically significant change over time (p value=0.0043 in Table 2).
The overall group by time interaction for the mixed model was statistically
significant only for SBP (p value=0.0105) in that PA group had significantly
reduced SBP while the placebo group had increased SBP during intervention. The
95% CI of the change in SBP (1.65 to 4.25 mmHg) exceeded the minimal detectable
change (MDC) of 4.16 mmHg (Yung et al 2014) for some individuals. The post hoc
analysis revealed that the changed SBP during intervention was significantly
different between the PA and the PA P group (p value=0.003 in Figure 3). The

lures him in through gluttony away from the siblings. The others find out more
about the mysterious land through other talking animals and eventually make
their way into a camp. The camp they find has the protector of the land as their

After Redcrosse strangles religious Error at Una s urging and kills the monster
with his sword, Spenser separates Redcrosse and Una by way of Archimago s
wicked machinations. Una cycles through a sequence of traveling companions: a
lion, Archimago as false Redcrosse (the Roman Catholic Church), Sans Loy (a
Muslim), satyrs, Satyrane, and Prince Arthur. Spenser implies that participants of

A novel is divided into different chapters and usually has different plots to focus on.
In a novel there are lots of characters and the time scale is constantly changing
throughout. Because there is more than one theme and there are different messages
coming across of combined themes, makes the novel denser and more complicated to
understand and to take in all the description.
Ambrose Bierce wrote a lot of short stories and some we have studied and analysed.
In a short story there is usually only one plot and the event usually carries on in the
same setting. There are usually a couple of characters and one hidden message which

I found that the stories are frightening because they are more into psychological
horror. Bierce s stories make us think of the supernatural and things that cannot be
rationalised and things that we cannot see or understand. The horror and suspense
and things that are not tangible he creates in an incredible way through his use of
characters and the establishing atmosphere.
The language used by Bierce is very effective and highly descriptive as he uses a
different for of English language giving every last detail. This is because he wrote
this in the nineteen hundreds and the
English he writes seems like a whole different language to us.
Staley Fleming s Hallucination, is a very effective piece of writing as Bierce tends
to create a sense of horror and suspense and keeps it going to the very end of the
story. What I like about this short story is the way Staley Fleming thinks he is loony
from the very start but the physician tends to think that it is guilt coming back on him
as he assumes Staley Fleming murdered Atwell Barton, a great enemy of
Staley s, and that this dog that appears to him is the loyal dog of
Atwell Barton s. At the end of the story it states that when the man was dead an
examination disclosed the unmistakable marks of animal s fangs. I found this very
