2. William Of The Battle Of Hastings
In 1066, King Harold and Anglo Saxon Europe were over ruled by William of Normandy in the
Battle of Hastings. William became known as The Conquerer and was crowned King of England
on December the 25th, 1066. The incipient ruler then utilised the Feudal System as a governmental
and social hierarchy to maintain power over the country. He did so through paying his people fiefs
(pieces of land) in return for their allegiance. Following the end of King Harold s reign, England
became a Church State called Christendom. This meant that the secular hierarchy (Feudalism) was
joined by an ecclesiastical one (the Church). Thought to be the superintendent of fortuity and fate,
God sat at the top of both. This gifted Popes, who alongside Kings, were supposedly in equivalent
control over England, so that they could grow stronger than Kings between 1100 (12th Century)
and 1200 (13th Century), regaining their power following the Great Schism. This was the result
of Investiture Conflict over who employed the clergy. They could then Preach sermons to the
community of nearly 100% Christians, and some even appointed new rulers. Sadly, like previous
Kings (who appointed family as Church clergy), some Popes became corrupt and capitalised their
power. They prevaricated about what the Bible expressed, to receive more money from the
attendants of the Sunday mass. This was the majority of people, known as the Laity. Monks and
Nuns were part of the Laity, only they lived their entire

Economic perspective of Climate change Climate is an average weather condition during a region
in a given period, it will not change by one day or one night, but instead caused through over time.
From the perspective of meteorology, The climate changerefers to a specific location, time of
regional or global climate change or conversion, based on the all of the conditions associated with
the average weather characteristics, such as temperature, wind and precipitation etc. According to
the IPCC s Synthesis Report, Anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions have increased since the pre
industrial era, driven largely by economic and population growth, and are now higher than ever.
This has led to atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide that are
unprecedented in at least the last 800,000 years. Their effects, together with those of other
anthropogenic drivers, have been detected throughout the climate system and are extremely likely
to have been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid 20th century (Page4)

First, Elearn Portal,(2016) post the Kounin Mode theory of Jacob Kounin. He is recognized for two
studies concerning classroom management in the 1970 s. These readings emphasized how teachers
could manage students, lessons and classrooms to reduce the incidence of bad behaviour. This
theorist acknowledged definite teaching techniques that help, and hinder, classroom discipline.
Bestowing to Kounin, the method used, not the teacher s personality, is the most crucial aspect in
classroom managementof student behaviour. The title of his book is Discipline and Group
Management in Classrooms which centres on preventive discipline. He says that, good classroom
management depends on operative lessonmanagement. He also acknowledged a group of proactive
teacher behaviours that famed effective classroom managers from ineffective ones. These are;
ripple effect, wittiness, overlapping, effective transitions, momentum, smoothness and class
management. (Higgins, 2014)

8. American Idiot Paraphrase
Green Day s American Idiot is a powerful song which presents to us the bands perspectives on the
many issues faced by American society today. The lyrics are carefully written to create a certain
impact, in which many useful techniques are employed to draw a certain response from the
audience and to aid in getting across the songs key messages or themes.
A commonly used technique in song writing, which is clearly utilized in the creation of American
Idiot , is that of repetition. Throughout the song, there are many lines which the band has
deliberately repeated, such as Don t want to be an American Idiot and all across the alienation .
This technique has been used to emphasize these words and the significant meanings which are
attached to them. Though they may also be repeated for the sake of gathering interest for the song
and its tune, its main use is really to highlight the songs main points and the meanings which it has
of course been constructed to convey. In this instance, it is to portray the Americans as... Show

9. Should Gas Prices Be Raised
If a person was asked a question such as Should taxes be raised? Their answer would most likely be
no way! The reasons why gas prices should not be raised is because if the price is raised then the
poor people will have a harder time paying for their house and bills, and by the way expanding
economy and cheaper oil makes more moneyfor the United States, and last if there is a smaller
price on gas then the demand for it will go down by a lot. First of all, it is very obvious that if
the prices go up for something, then people who do not have as much money are going to
struggle. If the prices go up for gas then the non wealthy people will probably have trouble
finding money to pay for their gas in their cars. Not only will they struggle with paying for their
gas, they will have distress in paying for their house and their bills. Imagine living in a governer
house with a few kids and a wife or a husband. Then all the sudden the gas prices go up about one
dollar! That family would not be happy at those changes. Then if they found out that the
government increased the prices only to reduce consumption, then they would definitely be in
rough scenario. Next, if America expanded their economy then that means more money. When they
say more money for America, then they mean a bunch more for the United States. They say that by

Below the understory there is a woody shrub layer and non woody herb layer (citation). An
adaptation present in many trees native to this area is the drip tip . This is advantageous because if
water is allowed to sit on leaves and then the hot sun returns it can easily burn the leaves causing the
trees to be stressed and often defoliate. The other limiting factor that determines the type of
vegetation present in the tropical rainforest is soil. The tropical rainforest possesses well developed
soil, however it maintains no visible O and A horizons. Thus attributing to the nutrient poor soil
quality. Soil in tropical rainforest also has relatively low soil productivity. This is because as

advancements we have today. If candidates wanted to get elected they had to be in good terms
with the public. If they wanted the votes they had to convince they were fit for the job. Media is
defined as the main mean of communication. Everywhere a person goes they are bombarded with

people do such thing is that they are creating bias. It is very difficult to be unbiased and be
neutral. For example people on Facebook who do not like a candidate will post a status and go

only goes off of what they heard. People are quick to judge a person why what they hear or by

21. Comparing The Soul Selects Her Own Society And The Dresser
In the poems The Soul Selects Her Own Society, by Emily Dickinson, and The Dresser, by Walt
Whitman, one can see two drastically different ways of how the speaker is represented in poetry.
While Whitman s poem focuses on his volunteer work in the American Civil War, Dickinson s
piece is a much more simple and vague poem about choosing one s friends. Although both of these
poems focus on a person interacting with complete strangers, Whitman s speaker is transparent and
central to the poem, while Dickinson s speaker is essentially unknown to the reader and somewhat
inconsequential. In The Dresser, the speaker is the main focus of the poem, which results in the
speaker being transparent to the reader. In the poem, the speaker appears multiple times in each
stanza, and its title refers to the speaker. The poem even starts by introducing the speaker: An old
man bending,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dickinson s poem talks about how people don t choose their friends knowingly, but rather their
souls choose their friends unconsciously, not being influenced by material desires. Whereas the
speaker in The Dresser is found multiple times in each stanza, the speaker in Dickinson s poem is
only included once: I ve known her from an ample nation Choose One (The Soul Selects Her Own
Society, Emily Dickinson). In representing the speaker in her poetry, Dickinson offers no
introduction to the speaker whatsoever; the speaker is a nameless character, completely unknown
to the reader. Additionally, the line in which the speaker appears barely contributes to the poem s
meaning, only adding a simple observation about the subject of the poem. Dickinson s way of
representing the speaker in this way is completely opposite to Whitman s method, whose speaker is
transparent to the reader and essential to the

22. Why Did The US Housing Market Collapse
Once the US housing market collapsed, it created a credit crisis and crunch in the wider
financial markets. Due to the complexity of CDOs many people had no idea how much they
were really worth. Many of the CDOS were worthless and it was almost impossible to find the
value of them (7). This led to a moral hazard problem whereby there was an overall caution of
banks because many had no idea if they were even bankrupt. Inevitably, the interbank lending
system crumbled whereby some banks stopped lending to each other and to corporations altogether
or only lent with very high interest rates. Many banks who relied on interbank lending for money
were heavily affected by this including Northern Rock. Inevitably, depositors of these banks become

25. Happiness Is Not What I Thought It Was
Blog: Happiness was not what I thought it was
As humans, we often look for happiness in the wrong places or for the wrong reasons. We even
sometimes expect happiness by doing something that makes others happy but unfortunately, that
does not work for everyone. A lot of the times we are followers when we should be leaders; we
may see something that seems sensational for others and try it instead of searching for happiness
ourselves. In other circumstances, we do certain things to keep others happy, and forget about
what makes us happy. When applying for college, I thought that going outside of Texas for school
would make me happy. I thought that experiencing college in a new place, with new people and

I never thought that the location of a university such as whether it was in a rural or urban area
could impact me either. After all, no one seems to talk about what affect students in college. The
media usually just shows the happy moments, but not the reality and it is why most students go
into college expecting to have the time of their lives. Thus, I ended up choosing a school with a
well recognized engineering program and figured that would be enough. It was also a bittersweet
feeling knowing my family was proud, and at the time that made me very happy. As the semester
began, things began to get quite serious. The school that I thought was good enough was not. I
was coming from a graduating class of one hundred students and felt very overwhelmed in a
school of fifty thousand students. The core class sizes were about 250 300 students. It was very
difficult to get to know your professors as well as to find academic support. Not to mention the
location of the campus where 50% of the population were students. Coming from a big city, it
was hard to adjust to a small town, in the middle of nowhere and with completely new people. It
felt as if I was trapped in a bubble, with nowhere to go. At the beginning, I thought it was normal
to feel lonely and homesick, since it was my first time going away from home and it was the first
time for many students as well. I knew I was not the only one feeling homesick and hoped things
would get better.

26. The Fight For Women By Charlotte Butler
The Fight for Women
Document 23.2
The British Parliament s passing of the Contagious Disease Acts in 1866 resulted in Josephine
Butler writing a letter to the International Convention of Women in Washington. The purpose of the
act was to reduce prostitution and sexually transmitted diseases, specifically occurring within the
military forces. Butler s letter included topics, arguments, and political issues women had to work
on even though they were not given the right to vote or engage in politics. Butler starts her letter
talking to the ladies of the Ladies National Association which was assembled in 1869, their goal
is to repeal the Acts of Parliament on 1866 69. She apologizes for her absence at the meeting but
her friend Mrs. Steward was able to attend and be the voice of Butler in the lack of her presence.
Butler suggested the committee needed to elect a delegate who had shown great work in the
field and for her Mrs. Steward was the lady for this position. She had done work not only in
England but also Belgium when English girls were being bought, stolen, and destroyed under the
State protected vice. Butler explains that there are not many of the original women left, she says,
There is now a crowd of younger workers who are bravely preaching the purity crusade and doing
excellent vigilance work; while there are few of the veteran s left who inaugurated in 1869 the

28. John Dewey s Views On Politics And Human Endeavor
In Pratt s informative book, claiming that a line of thought originated in large part with
Northeastern U.S. Indian tribes is supposed to reflect well on that line of thought or on those tribes
or both. That line of thought is roughly the thought of John Dewey, taken here as a culmination and
summary of American Pragmatism. The characterization of pragmatism offered in the book is
friendly toward it. Pragmatism, on Pratt s view, consists of four commitments to principles. These
put the American school of thought in opposition to standard tendencies in the traditions of
Western philosophy. 1. Things are what they do; or, they are the interactions they have with other
things, rather than being just, ever, self contained entities for abstract... Show more content on

It also leaves out the serious and ongoing critiques of pragmatist arguments. Some of those are more
serious than those Pratt does mention, such as Russell s objection to James view of truth. James
proposes that truth is something to be judged in relation to human interests at issue, and Russell
objects to the opening for relativism if those interests are thought a legitimate part of appraising
truth. But some Wittgensteinian critiques are targeted at assumptions shared both by the
pragmatists and their opponents and are based on concerns much like some of those which motivate
the pragmatists suspicion of de contextualized abstraction and of the lines of thought leading up to
the posing of philosophical questions. These objections, then, start with motivations like the
pragmatists, but wind up with accusations that the pragmatists critiques are shallow and that the
pragmatists wind up being driven by abstract pictures and lose track of examples. Because Pratt
assumes throughout pragmatists are on the side of the angels, his book does not help those who
might worry about that assumption. A detailed critique of the arguments for tracing all four
commitments to American Indian sources would be worthwhile, but let s take a look at one for
which the stakes are high. Consider the argument that the

Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Their Advantages
The HEV [Hybrid Electric Vehicle] concept goes back to 1905. On November 23 of that year,
American engineer H. Piper filed for a patent on a hybrid vehicle. Piper s design called for an
electric motor to augment a gasoline engine (1, pg 2) and thus, the HEV was born. Hybrid Electric
Vehicles, otherwise known as HEVs are vehicles that combine the internal combustion engine of a
conventional vehicle with the battery and electric motor of an electric vehicle (2).

Those who may doubt the potential for HEVs may ask: ?Why HEVs?? The Office of
Transportation Technologies makes the following points about HEVs:
?The practical benefits of HEVs include improved fuel economy and lower emissions compared to
conventional vehicles?Hybrids will never be true zero emission vehicles, however, because of their
internal combustion engine. But the first hybrids on the market will cut emissions of global
warming pollutants by a third to a half, and later models may cut emissions by even more?(2).
Although hybrid vehicles are not zero emission vehicles, they are a very good alternative to the
conventional vehicles that are on the road today. With the capability to have a higher fuel economy
and emit lower amounts of pollution, hybrids are strong contenders against such vehicles as SUVs
(sports utility vehicles).
Another advantage that HEVs have is that they are competitively priced with other vehicles on the
market today.
?The HEVs available for sale are very cost competitive with similar conventional vehicles. Any
cost premium that may be associated with HEVs of the future can be off set by overall fuel savings
and possible incentives?(2).

had been created largely by the Gulf War and the Canadian recession, increased Air Canada s
losses increased at worrisome rates. Then, after suffering losses upwards of $218 million in 1991,
the Board of Directors recognized the need for a corporate overhaul and consequently appointed
Hollis Harris as the Chief Executive Officer the following year. Harris, a 37 year veteran in the
highly competitive American airlineindustry, was given the challenging task of returning the
struggling airline to profitability. When he was appointed, many Canadians were outraged that an
American would lead a privatized Canadian company and feared this decision to be a step towards
the impending Americanization of the Canadian culture. Others speculated that Harris was
appointed for the sole purpose of training and mentoring Air Canada s future leader . However,
these individuals were all proven wrong when Harris transformed the reeling airline into a leading
competitor in the global airline industry. His American background, which was condemned by
many, played a significant role in the expanding Air Canada s international reach. His experience in
the aviation sector combined with his extraordinary leadership skills, helped reduce costs and
placed Air Canada on the path to financial recovery. Finally,

Many people in the world today grow crazy and mad when surrounded by even the slightest bit of
wealth and good fortune. Even a strong person who recognizes their priorities can still become
corrupt with too much power. There is no better example of a person falling into the path of evil
and corruption than in a novel written by John Steinbeck. In the novel The Pearl, by John Steinbeck,
the author writes about a poor Indian man named Kino who becomes corrupt from the wealth of a
magnificent pearl. Steinbeck uses the motifs of music, light and dark imagery, and values to

Kino is beginning to realize how at first the pearl seemed to have brought fortune and good to his
family, but it really had only brought evil to the family. By the end of the story, Kino and Juana
have lost their son, Coyotito, and they wish things were back to the way they were before they
found the pearl. Kino then throws the pearl back out into the ocean where he had found it: And
the music of the pearl drifted to a whisper and disappeared (90). The music disappearing as the
pearl sink back into the ocean symbolizes the evil leaving the family: now that the pearl has left,
so has the evil. Kino now understands that their wealth has brought nothing but evil and has
destroyed both himself as well as his family. Not only does Steinbeck use the motif of music to
express the theme that good fortune, wealth, and prosperity steer even the most innocent of people
towards a path of evil and corruption, but he also uses the motif of light and dark imagery.
Steinbeck uses the reoccurring topic of light and dark imagery numerous times throughout his
novel to help deliver the theme of how good fortune and wealth lead to corruption. The first night
that Kino had possession of the pearl, he was a little on the edge. Then, suddenly, an intruder came
into the house: Kino held his breath to listen, and he knew that whatever dark thing was in his
house was holding its breath too, to listen (37). Darkness symbolizes evil and

42. Eva Braun s Definition Of The Word Evil
How could the woman behind the most deviant man in the history of the world go somehow
unnoticed. Was she a possible helping hand in what was the worst genocide in recent history?
Eva Braun is quite possibly the second hand definition of the word evil. Was her life really like
this? Could a women that lived a seemingly normal life be capable of such heinous crimes? Eva
Braunwas a right hand man to one of history s most notorious criminals, but perhaps in her own
light was not quite the woman that everybody makes her out to be.
Something that many people do not know about Eva is that, she was a simple woman who lived a
seemingly simple life. Eva Braun was born on February 6, 1912 to Friedrich and Franziska Braun,
in Munich Germany(3). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun never shared an intimate moment together or so it seems (Nobody
knew Hitler s true sexuality so this may of had an impact)(3).Their relationship was strictly
domestic and relaxatory rather than the usual erotic relationship that many couples share
today(9). They were merely close friends that thrived off of each others joy and companionship
in times of need(3). Another part of their relationship that was different than most is that it was
completely private. Hitler and Eva rarely appeared in public together(9). Even if they did, they
would not sit together or give any evidence that they were even acquaintances of one another(8).
This was hard on Eva, as she longed for his attention. She would often cry when he was not
around and it was apparent that he had a significant impact on her mood. She even went to
lengths as trying to take her own life at one point in time because she did not think she would
ever be good enough for him(3). This proved to change the views that Hitler had on the
relationship, as it started to drastically change(8). Soon after the incident they moved in together
and Eva started to arrange gatherings for Hitler s closest friends otherwise known as his inner
circle . It was not long after that they started to live together that they were married. It was in April
of 1945 in Berlin where the ceremony happened, tragically a day before both of their deaths.
Although they were close companions for many years, Eva never did

43. Facilities Managers Are The Backbone Of All Establishments
Facilities Managers are the backbone of nearly all establishments. They are the reason the hotel runs
smoothly and efficiently. They aid in profitability, effective staff relation, effective information
management, effective internal communication, and effective facility responsibilities. The most
important area of a hotel that the facilities manager plays a role in is profitability.
Usually when people think of the maintenance department of any operation their first thought is
fixing thinks (Edwards, 2012. p.13). Yes, the maintenance crew does indeed fix things, but their
job is far more important than just that. For example, if there are twenty light fixtures broken in a
ballroom, no events can be hosted in there. This will result in a huge profit loss anywhere from one
hundred dollars to over $30,000. The facilities manager s job is to come in and fix the room as
quickly as possible so they can start turning a profit. As the hotel gets older and older things
become outdated and old. This is where the facilities manager comes in and makes the decision
to either replace the old equipment with brand new equipment, or to simply restore it. They are
responsible for nearly everything from painting the walls, resurfacing the roof... to the gas that
cooks the food and anything in between (Edwards, 2012. P14). If all of the equipment is taken
care of from day one, it will last much longer and save money in the long run. In the end, no hotel
would be able to operate or make a

How big of a role does mass media play on societies everyday lives? Communities often conform

mind for Americans to follow and influence their minds. Even as someone who does not
constantly view the news and follow each and every update. Their minds are still influenced by
what they hear from their friends and family. After their friends and family hear about it. They
share the news they read or heard and tell the people who do not keep up to date with the news.
This trickles down and continues to their friends and family too. The best way to not be

45. Dressing Modesty
One of my core beliefs that has shaped who I am today has resulted from dressing modestly.
Dressing modestly is important to me because so often in this present age, one s body is
displayed as a mere object. Not only is modesty, chastity, and purity important in one s spiritual
life, it is also crucial to society. One might ask why it is so imperative that modestybe discussed.
Well, one constantly hears reports of rape, molesting, and how high the rate of pornography
viewers is. Thus, how is one to destroy these horrible acts except by how one dresses. I am not
saying that dressing modestly will completely obliterate sexual assault, but it will certainly cut
down on how often it occurs.
I have always dressed modestly ever since I was a young child, but it was not until I was
fourteen years of age that I decided that I would begin to wear skirts rather than pants and shorts.
What influenced this was when I began to perceive the rate of women and young girls being
raped. I felt that as a young lady, it was my duty not to tempt young men to look at me as
something other than a young lady with thoughts and opinions of my own; I did not want to be
a distraction, but rather a helper and friend. As I grew older I began to realize how it was not
only beneficial to others, but also to myself. I noticed that my self worth began to rise as well as
how I judged myself. Furthermore, I began to distinguish that I was beginning to be my own
person. How did I experience this? Well, I was

46. Machiavellian Monarchs During The Renaissance
In the 14th and early 15th century, rulers in Europe were undertaking the task of reestablishing the
power of the monarch after its age of weakness during the Middle Ages. The age that led up to the
Renaissance was a constant struggle for the monarchs. They depended on councils of nobles and the
church for financial and militant support. This confined their ability to accomplish goals for their
nation without the approval of someone else. They lacked the capability to make any move without
being consented by the nobles and/or church. This soon changed. When the Renaissancecame
around, scholars and thinkers started to develope new political ideas that influenced and
encouraged the modern rulers. One such scholar was Machiavelli, who proposed... Show more

They, like a fox, slyly gained political influence over the church by negotiating with the pope.
They were given the ability to choose who would be the Church s clergy and priests. This is
extremely important to the throne, for with this capability, the monarch would be able to control
the faith of their nation. Not only would they manage the finances and property of the people,
but also the hearts. Another fox like quality of the French monarchs is the astute way in which
Edward IV and others conducted foreign policy. They focused on diplomacy when dealing with
foreign affairs, which helped them to avoid expensive wars. This saved their nation a large
amount of money, because instead of constant fighting, there was continual growth. In a similar
manner to England, the French monarchy displayed sneaky characteristics by choosing from
among smaller landowners and urban lawyers for a government council. By choosing these
landowners and lawyers, the monarch received more financial support and power than they
would have by choosing nobles and aristocrats. Along with the fox like actions, France also
showed lion like characteristics with Edward, Richard III, and Henry VII who attempted to
reinstate prominence, suppress the influence of the nobility, and demonstrate law and discipline a
local level around France. By lessening the importance of nobles, the rulers gained control and
started to rebuild the position of the monarch. They were fierce in their endeavors to gain power
and enforce law in their nation. This, along with the newly established influence on the church and
careful efforts to avoid expensive and unnecessary wars, showed how France both had fox like and
lion like

47. Cause And Effect Of Chacxulub Impact
Chicxulub Impact
By Talullah Lennon
The Cause:
An Asteroid is formed in the inner solar system in a particular part called the Asteroid Belt, when
small particles of rock and metal collide with each other, and slowly build up over time. Planets
are formed the same way as asteroids, but what stops asteroids from growing and becoming a planet
is due to the gravitationally pull of Jupiter. The asteroid belt lies between Jupiter and mars.
Because of Jupiter s gravitationally pull the asteroid goes at a highly increased speed causing it
to crash into other asteroids in the belt, the result of this is either the asteroids bounce off one
another or they break off and don t stick together. The asteroid belt contains billions of asteroids in
all different sixes. Majority are reasonable small around the size of a large bolder but on occasion

53. Narcissism in John Milton’s Paradise Lost Essay
Narcissism in John Milton s Paradise Lost
When Eve eats the forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, her decision to tell Adam of her
disobedience turns on two suppositions. If her transgression is kept secret from God, Eve s
augmented knowledge might increase Adam s love for her, and perhaps cause her to be more
equal or even superior to Adam. Even though Eve was created comparable to Adam as his helper,
she refers to Adam as her Author and Disposer. Furthermore, she says that while God is Adam s
law, Adam is her law. Apparently, Eve chafes under this arrangement, as she wraps up her
evaluation of not telling Adam of her sin with, for inferior who is free? However, her death is
assured if God has seen her wrongdoing. In this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Raphael joins Adam for dinner, Eve serves them naked, affirming her place in God s
hierarchy. However, Eve s nakedness arouses no libidinal desires in God s heavenly representative.
Eve listens in on their conversation while Raphael relates how Satan and his rebellious angels were
defeated, and how God and God s Son created the world. Eve leaves when Adam and Raphael
discuss astronomy, her reason not suitable for this subject matter, and she only overhears Raphael s
final warning about Satan. Information is power: Eve s status as Adam s weaker is clear.
During the conversation with Raphael, Adam relates his first experiences of passion with Eve,
an emotion mixed with his love. While Raphael praises Adam s capacity to love, he disparages
Adam s ability to control his passion. Adam should love, cherish, and honour Eve, but not subject
himself to her. Moreover, Raphael stresses Adam s need to love God, and the potential conflict
between his love for God and his love for Eve. To love God, is to obey God. For Adam, obeying
God means never to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. While God leaves Adam free to
will and in his own will free, his will though free is mutable. Under the influence of passion sexual
desire for Eve Adam could choose to act in ways at variance with his free will and God s will.

however, is without merits. Plaintiff received several noise complaints (Exhibit 2) throughout her

Although Plaintiff claims Ms. Miner provided bad references to prospective landlords, Ms. Miner

The Boys and Girls Club had a different atmosphere, compared to the Child Study Center. When
I arrived on the first day I was intimidated by the mass number of children that were in the
building. I noticed that even though the Boys and Girls Club is a structured environment for
children, it does not do nearly as well at administering the children. While I did have a wonderful
time with the children when I was there, I felt like there was more still activity from the children
getting in trouble, than there were the children doing activities. I had a great time with the kids,
I noticed that they were very aware of what the orange volunteer tag meant. I was not assigned a
room upon entering, so I was able to roam from room to room and interact with any age range I
wanted to. For my first visit to the Boys and Girls Club, on November 6, 2017, I was swarmed

affectionate and wanted affection back. From the time I walked in the gym until I left I had five

with the kindergarten and first graders, I noticed that they were not as willing to participate in
activities as the children at the Child Study Center were. Also, I was able to visit the media room
