Experience
Primark April 2014 to present
RBS May 2014 - August 2014
West Station Café September 2011 – February 2014
Although I really enjoyed my time at the West Station Café I decide to leave as
before my time was finished at university I really wanted to experience working for a
large organisation this is why I decided to join Primark.
So far I have had many new experiences within Primark while also working on
improving my already in existence skills. Primark has helped me to gain better
customer service skills as I meet and help a large amount of different types of
people and also have my own department which I am in charge of, by being given
the responsibility to look after a department has helped my use my practical
knowledge I have learned at university and put it into practice.
During my summer I spent time working within RBS Mortgage Center, to work within
an office environment which I had not done so before. I really enjoyed the few
months there as it helped to added to my current work skill set. Through this role I
got to gain more interaction with customers as dealing with client’s mortgages was
a large responsibility; I very much enjoyed the responsibility and am always keen to
take on more responsibility and new tasks that come along with it.
Hobbies and Interests
A large part of my hobbies since I have been young has always been dancing. I have
participated in many dance contests since I was young and this has helped me
develop a sense of responsibility from a young age. Although I do not compete
anymore dance is still a large part of my life as I still partake in helping at classes
and enjoy some adult classes.
A interest within my life is fashion, I have developed my interest within Fashion over
the past few years I enjoy not only partaking in wearing the latest trends but also
regularly read editorials and books based on the fashion industry past and present,
my choice of degree I feel has sparked this interest as I greatly enjoy reading into
how business such as fashion houses work.
