an agency with six full time and 2 part time agents and one support person. By June 2006
Casamento Insurance is a General Agent for four of its now twelve carriers exceeding all sales
obligations to maintain General Agent status. Achieved best in country in annual sales contest
three years running with four carriers. The WI office was sold in 6/06 and moved full time to S.C.

General Manager Swift Production Center
March 1997 – December 1999 Con Agra
Sanford, FL
Led pilot program for Swift to establish regional,” in market offices” moving from a central
location in Greeley Colorado. When role was assumed the Swift Production Center located in
Sanford, FL was comprised of a12,000 square foot distribution, sales, and production facility with
122 employees had a net operating loss of $40,000.00 per week. Under my direction the facility
was completely reorganized, including staff, equipment, and sales direction. This unit was
established to sell commodities; value added product, case ready, and a group of other Con Agra
items to the seven Southeastern states retail and foodservice industries. Under my direction the
existing loss was turned around in the 9th
month and the operation was made profitable on an
annual basis going forward.
Disney World was our largest foodservice customer. We cut all steaks, ground all hamburger and
other miscellaneous pork and beef items. Under my direction we successfully facilitated the
purchase and installation of a 1.1 million dollar state of the art grinding line, exclusively for
Disney World.
Regional Sales Manager DAK Foods
Regional Vice President Blue Bird Foods/Northern Foods
April 1984-February 1997 San Francisco Los Angeles, CA
Western Regional Manager for the eleven western United States. Main functions included hiring
and managing broker network and then training and assisting the network in selling DAK
products to retail and foodservice in the western U.S. Maintained standing as number one
division in sales from 1986 to 1997. Managed 21 brokers in key markets. Designed marketing
materials and all sales promotional activity teaming up with Proctor & Gamble, Schick, and
General Mills. Developed program for Price Club in their infancy becoming one of the largest
specialty food suppliers to the 14 store chain. Growing with Price Club to over 150 stores in the
late 80’s and early 90’s with sales in refrigerated, cookies, gift baskets, and snack foods. DAK’s
Ontario facility was built to handle sliced ham and distribution for Price Club. By 1992, through
my direction, DAK became the number one importer of sliced ham on the west coast with
customers including Vons, Ralphs, Fedco, Albertsons, Kroger and Price Club.
