JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
• Coordinating with Client, Project Manager, Main Contractor, and other specialist sub-
contractors.
• The main role as electrical engineer in construction projects is to supervise the electricians in
handling all the electrical works considering the safety and quality requirements.
• The construction side also read and studies electrical plans (usually done by electrical design
engineer) and implements it in the site, and sometime does necessary actions whether to
correct or to improve the design.
• Estimating load schedule at LV-Panel, MDB, SMDB & Final DB level, voltage-drop
calculation, cables selection & sizing, DG selection & sizing and Transformer Selection and
sizing. Earthing and Lighting protection system design.
• Looking after designing & Installation of Fire Alarm System.
• Overseeing activities related to Installation of other low current services like Access Control,
CCTV and Security System, SMATV System, IP-PBX System.
• Planning, scheduling and determining manpower for the project, leading project electrical
team from conceptual stage to detail design stage, providing support and guidance to design
engineers, CAD operators and coordination with team members of other disciplines.
