Salsa de Frutas is a simple f ruit topping served on top of ice cream, cake, f lan, pudding or as f illing to rolls
or even 'palaman' (spread) to your hot pan de sal or any kind of bread. Salsa de Frutas is not as sweet as a
f ruit jam, just sweet and chewy enough to enjoy that natural f ruity f lavor.
2-3 cups of any f resh f ruit such as mango, melon, strawberry,
etc
¼ cup sugar
1. Finely chop, mash or shred your choice of f ruit.
2. In a pan combine f ruit and sugar. Simmer f or 10 minutes.
Remove f rom heat. Allow to cool.
2. 3. Serve on top of vanilla ice cream, or any of your f avorite cake, f lan or pudding.
