➔ Is any JavaScript included as part of the framework? - No its an Pure CSS
Framework
➔ What CSS syntax does SLDS use? - It uses BEM CSS Syntax Pattern for naming all
classes
➔ Do we need to use (and compile) SASS to use SLDS? - SASS or any
preprocessor can be used to preprocess Design Tokens, but if you are only using predefined
component you don’t have to worry about them.
➔ Does Lightning Experience replace Visualforce? - LX & SLDS are provided to be
integrated inside Visualforce, so now you can consider that you have 2 ways to design your
app either in older fashion with new framework inside Visualforce, or a completely new Platform
Lightning
➔ Should we start building in Lightning or Visualforce? - It may varies based on
