by mail to arsa@admin.iitd.ac.in . The nominations will be acknowledged by Assistant Registrar (SA). The Student Affairs Section
after verifying nomination as per criteria given below, will inform about acceptance/rejection to the concerned nominee. A list of
valid nominations will be sent to Webmaster, IIT Delhi by Assistant Registrar (SA) for online election, as per schedule.

IMPORTANT
1. One student’s name cannot appear in more than one nomination form for a given post.
2. The proposer and seconder must be a part of the electorate of the post for which they seek to nominate a prospective
contestant.
3. A prospective contestant cannot nominate another prospective contestant for the same post.
4. A member of the electorate will be allowed to nominate (propose or second) only one candidate per post.
5. Any individual will be allowed to nominate (propose or second) a maximum of two candidates provided statements 2 and 4
are not violated.
6. Nominations will only be accepted during the time mentioned.
7. The nominated UG student should not have credit restrictions under SRC.
8. The nominated PG student (other than Ph.D.) should not have lost assistantship (for those admitted with
Assistantship).
9. The CGPA should not be less than 7.0 in the previous semester for all candidates contesting for the post at hostels and
Institute level.
10. The nominated Ph.D. student must inform his/her supervisor about their nomination.
11. No student would be permitted to hold the same elected office in any Board/hostel more than once, and no student would
be permitted to be an elected member of a body for more than two terms.
12. The student should have cleared all mess dues by 18th
May (2022) for filing of nomination.
