Maria Hildingsson, Secretary General of the European Federation of Catholic Family Associations, gave a speech on July 1st, 2014 in Geneva about the future of marriage and family policy in Western societies. She outlined the need to convey a vision that supports traditional family values, understand opposing viewpoints, identify opportunities, and develop a strategic roadmap. This includes strengthening networks, providing reliable information, and monitoring issues to better advocate for policies that recognize the family as integral to social development and peace.
