What is the STaR Chart The STaR Chart (School Technology and Readiness Chart) is used by the state of Texas to determine if schools/districts are making progress towards achieving the appropriate measures set forth my the state.

STaR Chart Rating Scores Early Tech (6-8) points Developing Tech (9-14) points  Advanced Tech (15-20) points Target Tech (21-24)

What does our STaR Chart Data Reveal? The Star Chart revealed that overall we are in the developing tech stage in the teaching and Learning Category and Educator Preparation and Development (our weakness) The STaR Chart revealed that we are in the advanced stage in the Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support and Infrastructure for Technology stage (our strengths)
How to improve All staff members will participate in professional development in regards to technology An attempt will be made to make professional development more interesting
