Russian Railways was searching for a lighting
partner, who would be able to conduct in-depth
analysis of their current lighting systems and
provide innovative and tailored solutions for their
requirements. Their objective was to reduce energy
consumption, increase profitability and to improve
visibility and safety, enabling the company to

GE Lighting offered a full turnkey service from initial
brief through to specification and installation.
Individual LED solutions were identified for use on
the platforms, trackside, at turnstile pavilions and
in the railway tunnels based upon the unique
requirements of each environment, saving energy
reducing maintenance and increasing security.
