Rubric for Concert Paper Papers are due Friday. April 22nd by 13:00p.m. The paper must be double-spaced 2.5-page concert review. You might start by discussing the composer(s) of the compositions you saw performed. A great place to start learning about them is in the Oxford Music Online for example; the UD library has access to this site. Honestly you could also try Wikipedia, although sometimes the information there can be slightly off. This should help take up a paragraph or more of your paper. -After that you might consider describing the instruments used in the concert and indicate what category they belong in according to the classification system we discussed in class; perhaps a bit about the history of the instrument. -The rest can be trying to describe the music/compositions and any opinions you might have. There are no wrong answers here, if you didn’t like the music or found it boring, that’s fine, just explaining why.
