Production Plant LoA, EMVCo Site pre and Full Audit as well as MasterCard, Visa and Bankserve POS acquiring.
Managing a major international financial project for MasterCard prepaid multicurrency card transaction processing in

Program management for the WFP World project proposal and tender process.
Led cross-functional teams of software testers, project managers, technical writers and business analysts developing more
efficient processes in an agile environment producing rapidly developed software as part of fast paced projects.
Drives the continued efficient operation of the social grant payment project by managing the project and associated teams
of around 80+ team members; coordinating the hardware and software testing; quality assurance; planning and managing
the pilot and live deployment phases which enables our system to facilitate the payment of 10 million client per month of
which +/- 3 million transact on the first day of payment.
Managed the co-ordination of EMV level two ATM acquiring certification, which enabled Net1 to deploy ATMs into the
South African banking environment. Net1 certification was obtained 30% faster than any other South African Bank.
Contributed to the successful deployment of around 700 ATMs across South Africa, in a record time of less than a year
from project initiation. Currently managing ongoing deployment of around 50 new ATMs per month.
Team Manager [April 2008 to January 2013]:
Contributed to the creation and implementation of the SDLC within the IT department.
Managed the testing of the EMV debit card certification project that enabled Net1 to successfully issue MasterCard debit
cards in partnership with a local bank into the South African banking sector (the highest number of MasterCard debit cards
issued by any issuer in South Africa).
Managed the software testing and Quality Assurance for the successful implementation of the social grant payment
project, including: management of the test team; project collaboration; test planning; software and hardware testing; and
regression testing that led to the successful bulk enrolment and card issuing of around 18 million grant beneficiaries.
Conducted the physical live piloting and deployment of enrolment and payment software and hardware on client sites
with a total contract value in excess of R10 billion. The contract currently serves a client base of around 18 million grant
beneficiaries and includes in excess of 10 million MasterCard EMV debit card holders.
Software Development Test Team Leader [August 2003 to March 2008]:
Planned, designed and created the Net1 test lab from the ground up where all IT software and hardware testing and
research are performed. Continuously ensured improvements to the design and operation of the test lab by changing
procedures, processes and the physical layout of the lab.
Created several development testing document templates used daily, several of which were later accepted into the SDLC.
