It's hard for most people to grasp the concept of being a slave. Most would deny that they are servants. But the reality is that we are all slaves/servants to something. If one is honest with himself He'll admit that he is in bondage to his job, to a location where he lives, to a bad marriage, to a sick and dying body and most of all to sin. Paul speaks in the context to the Roman empire where the majority of his listeners are servants. You may not be this kind of a servant, but the principles are still applicable to employees, students and even children. Jesus did not come to rule but to serve. We are to do the same.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
1. Coming Friday, January 7, 2011 At 7:00 PM December 5, 2011 www.blainebowman.com www.rossvillechurch.com
2. Romans 5 1-5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so , but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience ; And patience, experience ; and experience, hope : And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
3. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The Love of God is beyond human comprehension. A righteous man might be willing to die in the place of a really good man, But certainly not for an ungodly man.
4. Yet, Jesus died for us when we were ungodly sinners , unworthy of any consideration. God loves everybody! He died in your place.
5. In due time At the perfect time , God sent Jesus into this world to shed His Blood for the remission of sin, And to die so that we could live. We may think it is past time for God to act, But His Wisdom is perfect, And so is His timing .
6. What are you wanting and needing God to do? Whatever it may be, trust God . He has a Plan for your life. Trust His Timing .
7. 9-10 Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Seeing that God saved us from His wrath when we were ungodly sinners, Certainly God will not forsake us now that we are reconciled unto Him -- at peace with Him, And Jesus has been raised from the dead. While we were ungodly sinners, Christ died for us, shedding His Blood to wash away our sins.
8. A son or daughter of God will never be con-demned to hell, nor face God's Tribulation wrath. John 5 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. All of this happened in the moment of salvation; the moment we accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. It's done, and it can't be undone!
9. 11 And not only so , but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have now received the atonement. An unhappy Christian is an oxymoron. A Christian who understands what God has done will "joy in God". God has washed away our sins in the Blood of Jesus. We are already passed from death unto life. We are saved and will always be saved from the wrath of God .
10. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Since Adam's transgression of God's Word, breaking the only rule God had made -- Every person born has been born in sin . But also , every person born has himself sinned.
11. 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
12. Through Adam's sin death entered into the world. But, thank God , through Jesus Christ, we can have life and life more abundant . Life to the full ! We will not receive eternal life when we die. We now have eternal life through Jesus Christ.
13. The only time our joy is lessened is when we get our eyes on circumstances in this world, walk in sin , And forget the true life we now live. Psalms 5 11-12 But let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice : let them ever shout for joy , because Thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy Name be joyful in thee. For Thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt Thou compass him as with a shield.
14. Don't be a duty-bound , miserable Christian. Coming to church, but without joy. Singing without joy. Rather, serve the Lord with gladness. Be joyful in the House of God.
15. 16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condem-nation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.)
16. 18 Therefore as by the offence of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of One, the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.
17. 20 Moreover the Law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. We have everything to rejoice in, and nothing in which to be sad , mad , or unhappy .
18. Psalms 16 11 Thou wilt shew me the Path of Life: in Thy Presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. {NIV} Hebrews 13 5b … God has said , "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
