This document discusses how Christians can renew their minds through the transforming power of God. It encourages abstaining from fleshly lusts and focusing instead on living according to the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace and more. Christians are called to be citizens of heaven while living as strangers on earth, and to let their good works point others to God rather than conforming to worldly ways. Renewing the mind involves setting it on pure and lovely things, walking by the Spirit rather than fulfilling fleshly desires, and allowing one's soul to prosper through following the Spirit rather than human nature.
Don't be surprised when -- not if -- you find yourself suffering in God's will -- This will happen! You are folllowing Christ's example of reproving the world with a love for them that hates sin enough to suffer. Paul said that in suffering, you're in God's death-to-Life march, on display for the world to marvel at. So prepare and consider proper suffering the honor it is, that is to be rewarded by Him.

Right of Justice and Judgement was not given to souls. It is the sole prerogative of God for which He created His Karmic Law.
His Karmic Law works on the principle of Upliftment of soul. If we are keen to realize our Father then we must stop judging others and also stop seeking justice for wrong done to us.
When we will forgive others, God will forgive our trespasses to His Law.
2 Clement was traditionally believed to have been an epistle to the Christian Church in Corinth written by Clement of Rome sometime in the late 1st century.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

1. Announcements? We closed last week talking about 1 Peter 2:9 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: How to do that June 10, 2009 1
2. 1 Peter 2 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 2 Dearly beloved by God and God’s children, but strangers and pilgrims to the world.
3. Romans 12 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, Will of God. 3 As citizens of Heaven, and As strangers and pilgrims in this world, we are not supposed to fit in.
4. As Citizens of Heaven living in this world, We are representatives of a better land. 4 Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Metamorphosis
5. The larvae of holometabolous insects bear no resemblance to their adult parents. Their habitats and food sources may be entirely different from the adults as well. Larvae grow and molt, usually multiple times. Some insect orders have a unique name for their larval forms: butterfly and moth larvae are caterpillars; fly larvae are maggots; and beetle larvae are grubs. 5
6. How do Christians undergo such a drastic change? 6 By the renewing of our minds 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things arehonest, whatsoever things arejust, whatsoever things arepure, whatsoever things arelovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Philippians 4
7. June 10, 2009 7 1 Peter 2 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Our mind and heart will be destroyed by fleshly lusts often yielded unto. Set our minds on the pure and the lovely.
8. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5:16-17 (KJV) 8 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:6-7 (KJV)
9. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: … Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) 9 Human Nature
10. 10 Godliness 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 3Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) Human Nature Peter taught us to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. Why is that important?
11. 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 (KJV) 11 Why don’t Christians prosper and enjoy good health? Look at the way we have livedour lives. What have we habitually followed after? The lust of the flesh? The fruit of the Spirit? And it is one or the other.
12. Who we really are 12 As the soul goes, so are we. Abstain from fleshly lusts in thought, word, and deed; they war against the soul.
