The Transylvania Technical College of Transport Cluj-Napoca, Romania is organizing an international conference called "Contemporary World Challenges for the European Citizen" on November 18, 2016 as part of the Erasmus+ project "Searching for the Labours of Hercules". The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for high school teachers and university professors to share research and experiences on national and transnational cooperation, and to redefine what it means to be a European citizen in light of contemporary challenges. Sections will address preserving European mythological heritage, building moral character, using technology in education, transnational educational programs, and modern versions of Hercules' labors. Participation is free and selected
