Project MEGSSS is a 3-year program that provides challenging math instruction beyond typical middle school curriculums for gifted math students. It covers advanced topics through books and summer programs in areas like logic, algebra, geometry, discrete math, and statistics. The commitment includes testing, 10 summer half-days, and 1 after-school day per week. The goals are to develop critical thinking, relationships, and allow students to place into higher high school math. It aims to answer whether there is interest and support to fully establish the 3-year program in the community.
