Executive Team Leader
As an Executive Team Leader at Target, I was able to assist the company grow both Domestically as well as
Internationally. As one of the foremost executives in the Region, I was part of a small group chosen to help
launch Target Canada. Here in the U.S., I have been similarly called upon to lead turn-around, remodel, and new
store openings throughout the Midwestern United States.
When not out bringing Target to new markets, I managed the day-to-day operations of stores with up to $65
million a year in sales. I directly oversaw up to eight team leaders, with up to 150 direct reports at any given
point and time. My responsibilities included many facets of HR management, such as: talent management, team
retention, payroll allocation, creating reviews, interviews, hiring and firing, scheduling, etc. I mentored an intern
candidate through our training program to an Executive position of her own. I also helped to groom, train and
promote multiple new Team Leaders and Senior Team Leaders for my District. I worked a great deal with profit
and loss analysis, inventory control systems, warehouse management, data analysis for both customer
experience and sales, planning and executing projects, etc.
My most recent area of focus was Grocery, Food Production areas (Deli, Bakery, Produce, Meat, Dairy) as well as
overseeing both Pizza Hut Express and Starbucks. This allowed me to gain a great deal of experience in working
with external vendors to create sales plans and forecasts, implement new product launches, and visualize,
design and execute merchandising displays. I also oversaw food safety processes, brand stewardship, and
regulatory compliance. I have both the U.S. Food Safety Management certification, as well as an Illinois
Department of Public Health Food Service Sanitation license.

Senior Team Leader
During my time as a Senior Team Leader at Target, I managed almost every area in the store. I have spent time
overseeing Grocery, Logistics, Stockroom and Warehouse Operations, Electronics and Entertainment, Hardlines,
Front End, etc. In each of these positions, I was able to demonstrate my skills of Managing Talent. I had the
distinction of being the District peer trainer for all new-in-role Senior Team Leaders, as well as Electronics leads.
I also helped to deliver many team members to promotional opportunities from my work centers.
In overseeing these many areas, I worked in a fast-paced, results driven environment. I drove my team to
success in numerous metrics, with our primary goals being outstanding customer service and sales. To that end,
I gained an immeasurable amount of experience in data analysis. Our goals were to analyze trends, times, and
sales data and use that information to create plans for staffing, merchandising and providing an outstanding
customer experience.
As a Senior Team Leader, I also began my support role to the District and Region through multiple project
captainships. I have led teams through Store Inventory, multiple store remodels, leadership scheduling, and
numerous other projects at both the store and district levels.
