Falling From Height Francis (Me) Medium When climbing out of the w indow, Imade sure I w as wearing shoes that had a strong grip.
For the shot, w hich Iw as experimenting w ith, We stationed people around the balcony, from
inside the house, and tw o people dow n below. These people w ere positioned underneath in
case by any chance I had lost grip or slipped w hich would have been quite unlikely. I also
decided to make sure I spent as little time outside the balcony as possible, in case there w as
a strong w ind that w ould unbalance me.

Medium As w e wearing filming during the night, and by then it w as quite cold, before we started
filming, w e had agreed to take a few measures before we head out and film. We discussed
that everyone would bring extra layers of clothing w hen they were not being filmed, in order
to stay w armand not freeze. We had taken an extra bright torch that allow ed us to see clearly
w hat wasin front of us metres ahead. This w as especially helpfulas at the time and present,
the park is under going reconstruction with a few of its buildings.

Camera – During poor w et weather Camera

Medium During our first day of filming, w e wereunfortunately struckby bad w eather.The rain w asn’t
intense but it w as enough to blur the lens, w hich instigated that w e needed to cover the
camera, as it w ould have been a riskkeeping it under the rain (cause problems to the
mechanics) We took the initiative and covered the camera w ith a scarf, making sure all the
camera w as sheltered. This firstly prevented the riskof the camera being ruined by the rain
as w ellas our group being able to film anything at all that day.

Skateboarding w hilst holding the
camera
Francis (Me) High We decided as a group to experiment w ith camera shots by using a tracking shot. This
involved me skateboarding dow n a road w hilst holding the tripod w ith the camera on it. This
road w as on a slope therefore I w as travelling at quite some speed w hen filming. In order to
minimise the risk, w e had Luca w hop stayed at the bottom of the road looking out for any cars
coming. We had Manuele (Helper) placed at the top of the road w ith the same job of looking
out for cars. Matt w as placed in the middle of the toad, ready to act if by any chance I could
fall. How ever much of the riskw as unpreventable as it came up to how good my
skateboarding skills w ere. Luckily as I have some experience, it w asn’t hard keeping my
stability, but the positing of the team helped me focus on the task as I knew the road w as
safe to traveland film.
