The company INNOV8 conducted a risk assessment on 29/04/18 to identify potential workplace hazards and controls to mitigate risks. Hazards identified included slips and trips from poor housekeeping, electrical equipment risks from liquids, and chairs with wheels potentially falling over. Existing controls included general housekeeping, ensuring liquids are away from electrical equipment, and sitting sensibly in chairs. Additional controls identified were better kitchen housekeeping, repairing loose carpet, implementing a rule about liquids near equipment, and ensuring no messing around in chairs. Actions were assigned with completion dates to address additional controls.
