Stepping off the pavement into the road

Ensure that all cast are not near the edge of the road and if they are ensure one member of the crew is
there to stop them walking into the road. The same will be with the crew to ensure they don’t walk
backwards into the road.

Bumping into a member of the public

Ensure there is plenty of space for the cast.
Film at a time of day when there is less members of the public.
The crew will be reminded to make sure they are aware of the public around them before moving
equipment or the camera.

Ensure when the cast and crew are moving about in the fields that they stick to a path where possible.
If not survey the area to check for uneven ground and rabbit holes.

Slipping over on wet, muddy ground

Check the weather on the morning of the day of filming to ensure appropriate footwear is taken by cast
and crew.
Avoid any damp, muddy or sodden areas.

Falling in the river

Make sure the cast and crew stay away from the river where possible when filming.
Have a member of crew standing behind the cast to avoid them stepping backwards into the river. The
same applies with the crew.
