This document summarizes a student project to develop and commercialize an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser. A group of students conducted research on the need for touchless hand sanitation due to COVID-19 and developed a prototype using an IR sensor, relay module, pump, and battery. They analyzed the cost to produce, market, and sell the device in schools and colleges. The group set a budget, identified competitors, and developed marketing and business plans. Their future goals include scaling up production and expanding the technology to other applications like water taps. Through this project, the students learned skills like prototyping, budgeting, and marketing strategy.

4. INTRODUCTION
The year 2020 has seen a deadly virus pandemic. Experts
have warned us that this is going to last until we develop an
effective vaccine. Researches have also proved that the infections
spread through physical contact among other ways. And
throughout the day, our hands come in contact with a large
number of things, especially at public spaces, which raises the
chances of cross-contamination. So, the need of the hour is for us
to keep our hands clean and disinfected.
In the time of this pandemic government has started schools and
colleges offline, therefore sanitizer dispenser in schools and
colleges are going to become essential so using touch free hand
sanitizer dispenser to prevent diseases like corona is must.
