The violin originated in northern Italy in the 16th century and the best was carved during the Renaissance by Gasparo de Saló.
Electronic music originated in the late 19th century with the development of recording technologies like the phonautograph. In the early 20th century, inventions like the triode audion tube and telephone oscillator allowed for the creation and amplification of electronic audio signals. In the 1950s, major developments included Stockhausen's composition of the first published electronic piece in 1954 and the creation of electronic music studios. Live electronics performances emerged in the 1960s pioneered by groups in the US and Europe. Tomorrowland is a major electronic music festival held annually in Belgium since 2005, and some of its most prominent exponents include Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Tiësto, and Deadmau5.

The Revolutionaries of Electronic Musical InstrumentsNicolas Cloward
Václav Prokop Diviš invented the first electronic instrument, the "Denis d'or", in the 18th century which used electricity to alter the sound of the strings. In the late 19th century, Elisha Gray and Thaddeus Cahill developed early electronic oscillators and synthesizers. Leon Theremin then invented the theremin in the 1920s, which used antennae to control pitch and volume. Finally, Robert Moog developed the first portable synthesizer, the Minimoog Model D, in the 1970s, bringing electronic music production to the masses.
The guitar evolved from earlier stringed instruments originating in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Early instruments included the bowl harp, tanbur, and lute. The Moors introduced the oud to Europe, where it developed into the lute. Regional variations led to the four-string and six-string guitars common in the Renaissance. In the modern era, steel strings were added for volume, electric pickups were incorporated, and solid body designs emerged.

into existence in 1964, when Bob Moog introduced his Moog synthesizer.
Thus, gigantic keyboards were suddenly replaced by easily portable
instruments.
Some of the earliest versions of digital keyboards were Opus 3, ARP Omni
and Moog’s Polymoog, etc.
Musical Instrumental Digital Interface (MIDI) was invented as a standard
