Varun Kelkar is a Master's candidate in Mechanical Engineering at UIC. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, India. His work experience includes being a Design Engineer at Virgo Valves and Controls where he designed and analyzed butterfly valves. He had internships at Fisher Controls and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd where he worked on rebranding valves and developing a pneumatic tool respectively. His skills include CAD, FEA, controls systems and programming. He has published work on developing a pneumatic tool and enjoys outdoor activities.
