Gregory Hahn Jr. received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University. His master's thesis focused on modeling photovoltaic power for wildlife telemetry systems. He has work experience at W.L. Gore and Associates designing manufacturing aids and investigating product issues. As a graduate research assistant, he researched energy harvesting methods for sustaining battery life in marine bio-logging tags. Hahn has also held roles in general maintenance and welding/plumbing at NAU. He has published papers on solar power models for distributed marine sensors and an energy harvester.
